The image of a restaurant is as important as the food. So when a customer comes in, to a full house and asks for a table for 2… the answer should be longer than “No”.

I could recommend a few answers:
- “No, because the table is reserved”
- “No because we’re closing soon”
- “No because I’m fed up and want to go home”
Anything after the word “No” is OK and will make you sound less arrogant and unfriendly. But maybe, this how this person is and is just being honest.
Anyway, if you’re asking yourself if you should eat here. My answer is No!

Probamos varios platos, incluso aunque no podíamos más, pedimos postre para probarlo ya que estaba todo espectacular. Hasta el café estaba bueno que hoy en día no es fácil encontrarlo. Además el local tiene mucho encanto, la zona del fondo con los dos patios es muy bonita.

The food (yuca sticks, pizza with vegan cheese, pumpkin lasagne, and vegan ice cream) were all extremely tasty.

go here expecting to have huge dishes. The chocolate mousse was also exceptionally good - but extremely filling.
Anyone who's vegan will find a plethora of options here (almost all pizzas can be made vegan) and will be satisfied after.

Restaurante vegetariano con muchas opciones veganas. Todo muy rico, sitio con encanto y personal atento y agradable. Me ha sorprendido especialmente los vescaditos fritos. En Tavernes solo sirven comidas y cenas pero en Valencia también hacen desayunos, habrá que ir a visitarlo 😊

Food was excellent, many new vegan and veggie options to try. The restaurant space is very cool. Prices OK, value to price ratio was good, in my opinion. Service was a bit hit and miss at times. It was a busy Saturday night but even before it got busy service was slow. They are really doing great things at La Casa Viva. The big questions are would we go back and would we recommend the place? Absolutely!

A load of vegan choices, ranging from risotto and pizza to special lasagnes and salads. The food is tasty, healthy and fresh, a little too salty to my taste and I like salty.

Next to that, it's a cosy restaurant and enjoyable to sit. They serve several local, Valencian liquors as well.

6 raviolis, €14.50, small bowl of mushroom lasagna, €10.75. We had to eat again, when we got home. The portions are so small. Will never go again.We had to sit outside, in the cold breeze, because he said they were booked. We were there an hour, and only saw 5 ppl come in. There were plenty of tables!

It's a fully vegetarian restaurant with many vegan options (some of them for additional charge) and very nicely decorated. Food was delicious and nicely designed. Apple crumble was super nice 🍰
