La Casa Rosa
A garden center and furniture warehouse with a little, homey vegetarian cafe. Menu is fairly small and affordable. Items includes hummus, in-house-made breads and cakes, macaroni and cheese, bean dishes, and falafel burgers. Portion sizes are comparable to a generous tapas dish. Open Mon-Sat 11:00am-5:00pm.

'The Pink House' - a quirky little place - Edit
Truly off the beaten track, but not difficult to find - just follow signs to La Concepcion but don't go into the village itself, The Pink House (La Casa Rosa) is just past it on the right.
You will find an enormous second-hand furniture warehouse and garden centre - a most eccentric, quirky one at that. It is a rather strange place, but very charming and bohemian. Inside is a small cafe, with everything made freshly on site, even the bread, and all completely vegetarian, with plenty of vegan options.
The food was very cheap, and the owners friendly. I would definitely go back there, especially as I know of no other vegetarian cafe or restaurant in the entire region of Almeria, so I shot straight over to this place when I saw it advertised.
Pros: Friendly staff, Very cheap, Fresh food
Cons: Small portions, Small menu
