Très bon restaurant

Super resto avec des options végétariennes et vegan et même sans gluten.
Les plats sont faits avec amour et avec des produits locaux. L’accueil est chaleureux et sympathique

Vegan tapas & dessert

This restaurant is primary vegetarian and vegan, with one option for meat or fish. We ate vegan tapas, existing out of 5 different dishes, and had a lovely vegan chocolate cake for dessert. I exactly had two pieces of cake, because I liked it so much 😊 (although some bits were a bit dry for my taste). The owner is great! When you're nearby, I would definitely recommend this place!

At last - another veggie restarant in the Drome

Vegetarian restaurants are very rare in rural France; what a treat to discover La Cartonnerie!
(Note: There used to be café Soie in Crest but the Covid closed it down for good in 2020 - otherwise there is nothing).

Julie, the cook, knows a lot about excellent vegan cuisine. The principal is a menu of tapas-style dishes that changes every week but you can be sure it's vegan-based, with a vegetarian option and a fish or meat option for the locals. The day we visited, there were seven dishes to choose from, five of which were vegan, one veggie and one fish (see photo).
The setting is lovely, you can sit inside or out. Parking is easy. Nice wines and beers, friendly staff.

Pros: Delicious food, You can try *all* the vegan options!, Great outside seating area
