Pad Thai is different but good - Edit

We had the coconut noodle soup, Pad Thai and the fresh spring rolls and all of them were great! If you’re expecting the usual Pad Thai, beware though: this Pad Thai is cooked with Brokkoli and cabbage and topped with a peanut sauce (so in my opinion it should have a different name than Pad Thai). But since we thought it was delicious despite the misleading name, they get their deserved 5 stars!

Pros: All the dishes we tried were flavorful, They use a lot of fresh and crunchy veggies!

Cons: Pad Thai is different from usual ones (but good)

Would give 0 stars if I could. - Edit

We may have got this place on a bad night (considering the other reviews). We ordered take away tonight and it was one of the worst I’ve had in Thailand.
Ordered the pad Thai, red curry and fried rice but they gave us plain rice instead? :/ both dishes were so plain and lacked flavour. Would NOT recommend!!

Pros: it’s vegan

Cons: the food

second worst feed I've had in Thailand - Edit

Setting is nice for Thailand standards but we got takeaway. Both my partner and I agreed that it's the second worst meal we've had in Thailand (had a shocker in Pai that had a cricket in it). Food was 100% mediocre and quite simply lacked effort. Pineapple doesn't belong in red curry! Pad Thai just had no flavour - an embarrassment to the tradition of the dish. Hardly any tofu either. They also charged us for fried rice but gave us normal rice, which we only discovered when we got home. The one saviour was the spring rolls being tasty. Overall nothing to go back for.

Pros: nice setting if eating in

Cons: not cheap, poor cooking performance , waiter can't remember what you ordered

Lovely and cheap - Edit

Great little restaurant. The meals are very cheap (large Pad Thai for equivalent £2). Fruit shakes are tasty. And service is great. The waiter said everything is vegan but I saw honey in the menu so not sure.

Pros: Cheap, Friendly, Tasty

Cons: None

SO GOOD - Edit

We’ve been here almost every night we’ve stayed in Koh tao. The pad Thai is the best we’ve eaten so far!! Everything is vegan (besides the pancakes for breakfast). Make sure to get the coconut shake as well. So yummy. The family that works here is so nice as well. We loved it so much!

Tasty - Edit

My green curry was good. Nevertheless, compared to the other vegan/vegetarian places von Koh Tao, this one did not really convince me to go there again, even though the taste was good.

Delicious and cheap food - Edit

Had the red curry with brown rice - which was amazing. Large menu with lots to choose from, and easy to find location. The staff’s English is rather poor, but they are friendly and it all worked out even with a bit of language difficulty. We were very surprised when we received our check, as it was even less than expected. Great food to a very nice price. A must to visit as a vegan or vegetarian on Koh Tao

Wunderbare frische, knackige, lecker gewürzte Speisen! Alles ohne MSG Glutamat etc.! Die Gewürzkomponenten sind rauszuschmecken, nicht zu spick, obwohl spicy auch vorhanden ist!

Worth a visit in Koh Tao - Edit

Decent sized menu, affordable. Wholesome food, traditional Thai for the most part but tofu sandwiches and stuff too. Honey is in some of the desserts, but otherwise the menu seems entirely vegan. Kind French owner who hired a veggie Thai chef who was very sweet and talented.

Pros: Delicious, Affordable

Cons: Not open for later dinners, No AC

MUST GO! - Edit

Do not miss out on this great place. The pineapple fried rice, pad thai, spring rolls, and mango banana smoothie are out of this world. For the price, portions, and great location, it can't get better than this.
Amazing, I wish I was in Koh Tao longer to eat here everyday!

Pros: delicious, great value, nice vibe

Hooray for brown rice! - Edit

Finally! We found a brown rice-based vegan restaurant in Thailand! They are all about protein and whole foods here (hence the brown rice) using loads of nuts, tofu and vegan meat substitutes in most dishes. Taste was superb! Large portions, reasonable prices. We recommend the carrot salad that is mixed with a nut and tofu paste, the curry fried rice and pad Thai. Very conveniently located 2 minutes from the downtown ferry pier and shopping area. Highly recommended!

Pros: tons of protein , no MSG, taste and variety

very good food and lots of choices for vegans - Edit

we loved this restaurant. very nice cook that worked 17 years at may kaidee (vegan restaurant in bangkok). the food is really good, there is a lot of options. the owner speaks French for those who do like us and he's very nice. the only thing is that it's a little expensive when you compare to other vegan places in Thailand but it's definitely worth the visit!

Pros: no msg, Nice owner, very good food, loots of vegan options

Cons: a little expensive for budget (nothing under 100 b

Yummy - Edit

Yummy Thai Food at reasonable prices. It's a small restaurant on the main road from the pier. Seems all vegan but I did notice a picture of an omelette as a breakfast option... The menu is fairly similar to other Thai places but with a few extra tasty options. The vegan pancakes alone are enough of an excuse to go here though! Staff are friendly and relaxed.

The direction map is a little confusing. There are two parallel roads up the hill from the pier. The restaurant is on the one starting at Lomprayan pier. Great food. Looks like all vegan. We came back every day. The seewead rolls taste is heavenly. Strongly recommended
