One for the atmosphere, not the food

The place itself is truly lovely. It's set in a beautiful garden and it's part of a hotel. The menu isn’t particularly vegan-friendly, but since we’re in Venice, we decided to be grateful and give it a try. They offer one vegan appetizer and one main course. When you say you're vegan, they also say they can make a spaghetti dish for you. For dessert, the only option was a lemon sorbet.

We ordered the main dish made of red lentils. The taste was fine but to be honest, given how fancy the setting was and how steep the prices were, we expected something a bit more refined and creative. What we got looked more like a kids' meal - a basic fried dish. The prices were just... soul-crushing. Venice prices are just brutal.

Fresh Venetian cuisine

Lovely setting. Food is beautifully prepared and they are happy to veganize.

Pros: Pretty setting, Discount if staying at hotel

Cons: Wish there were more options

Romantic dinner with yummy food

We stayed at Hotel Saturni and this restaurant is at the hotel. We had a beautiful dinner in the outside area. They have a vegan option for every course and were super accommodating. The food was really flavoursome. I didn’t like the sound of their vegan dessert as I don’t like aperol so the waiter suggested something else: a peach sorbet which was lush! My non vegan hubby loved the food too.
