Tiny coffee/pastry shop and chocolatier. They have 5 or 6 vegan pastries / cakes and you can get oat milk or almond milk hot drinks. The little chocolate shop part (across the street) has some lovely chocolates but they’re expensive.

Read moreEn tant qu'amatrice de chocolat, j'étais comme une petite fille une fois arrivée dans la boutique, il y a tellement de choses à regarder, tellement de choses à découvrir, tellement de choses à goûter que je ne savais pas par où commencer. J'ai eu la chance d'être très bien accompagnée sur place, on m'a donné de très bons conseils, j'ai également pu discuter et c'était très intéressant, je suis repartie les bras chargés, mais pas que !
Juste en face de la chocolaterie, il y a l'atelier qui sert aussi de mini salon de thé ! Il y a quelques places assises pour pouvoir déguster une boisson et un chocolat ou une pâtisserie tout en regardant l'équipe travailler. J'ai pris une boisson pralinée qui était délicieuse et autant vous le dire tout de suite, rien ne vous fera penser que tout est végétale ET sans gluten !

What a lovely little coffee shop, such a treat after 4 days of zero non dairy options! I had a lovely coffee with almond milk and shared a noixette tart & peach & chocolate crumble with my Mum. There were so many yummy things to choose from, all vegan & gluten free! The owner was also really helpful & friendly & recommended various places to go for a tasty vegan lunch, one of which was 'le piano dans le thearea'.

We took a chocolate tartelette on the go which she cut in half so that we could easily eat it while continuing our visit.
Also I took some chocolates for the way back home which she gave me with a refresher bottle so that they do not melt in the sun.

We tried this amazing place in La Rochelle, I bought like a hand of chocolate, not many. it’s not cheap but they were DELICIOUS. Many different flavour and shape. They were the finest vegan chocolate I have ever had. They use oat milk. Totally worth it! specially the pecans ones and the glándula spread in a jar also tasty 😍 it was a treat. Highly recommended. Also great costumer service.

I went here multiple times during my trip. The owner is incredibly friendly, she gave me lots of recommendations on where to eat. Everything in her shop she makes herself, even the almond and oat milk she uses to hand make her chocolates. The raw desserts are delicious too but my favourite thing was definitely the black sesame ice-cream, highly recommend this place!

Je suis passé acheter un assortiment de chocolat cet après midi. Et franchement je ne suis pas déçu. Les chocolats sont juste à tomber. La vendeuse est super adorable et très gentille. Je recommande vivement et lorsque je serai de passage à La Rochelle, c'est sûr que j'y retournerai.

They have two places one across the street from each other. One they make the chocolates, and the other one they sell it. They have a wide variety of chocolate moldes, flavours and it's run by two twin sisters and daughters. It's a bit expensive, but I guess it's the value for artesanal chocolate and all the labour that goes into it. As far as flavour go, at least the coconut cake I ate was nothing special.
