El Punto Vegano

Love it! I ordered the Tacos and I
were simply delicious!!! and the Batida! OMG! amazing! and the chef and the owner are very kind! don't miss it!!

Finally made it here! There are not many reviews online for this place but the ones that are there are well deserved 5s! After strolling along the main stretch in Condado, we decided to make the stop here for dinner. We met Ernesto who puts the menu together who recommended the burger and taco for us. ( The lunch buffet was already over)

We ordered his suggestions and added a quesadilla to share. This food was so flavorful. The tortillas, if I understood properly are made from a gluten free cassava flour and added to the flavor of the taco and quesadilla. Ernesto kept checking in on us to make sure everything was good and he let me sample some of the macaroni salad he had left over from the lunch buffet. AMAZING! We took some to go to bring back to our hotel.

He explained that the buffet normal starts when they open at 11. He decides on the menu every morning so it is different pretty much everyday. The buffet goes until around 3-4 when most things run out. He then has the standard menu which includes the food we ordered, plus a few additional items that can be put together quickly. This place is a definitely a must try for the service and flavor.

Everything from the evening menu looked and tasted just fantastic. I ordered the veggie burger and oven baked fries on the side and everything was DE-LI-CI-OUS! The best part was that the burger was not your typical junk food - it had a nice veggie patty, shredded beetroots, greens and sprout between two amazing spelt buns! I am seriously comming back for more!

We walked here from Condado, it took us about 20 minutes I think but was well worth it. I got habichuelas (beans), rice, mofongo, and a tofu cheesecake.

It was the cheapest mofongo we had, and the 2nd best (best was Cafe Berlin). Staff was very friendly, and was great to find a vegan-only restaurant in PR.

I was sad we didn't have time to go a second time.

The taco was amazing. Owner and cook was really friendly. Your tastebuds will thank you.

El Punto Vegano is an authentic cafeteria-style Puerto Rican experience with a broad all-vegan menu, friendly staff, and delicious food. We particularly enjoyed the vegan burger, salad options, and the cupcakes! They also have a hot-food bar, some great smoothies, and several snacks you can buy to-go.

We are a vegan / vegetarian family of four. This winter vacation, we traveled to San Juan, Puerto Rico and Vieques island. On Calle Loiza near the Doubletree hotel, we were lucky to find this vegan restaurant for dinner. We tried cheese pizza, burger, taco, fruit smoothies, rice pudding and cheesecake (all vegan). They were delicious and so good that we returned the next day for the lunch buffet. Parsley rice and beans, barbecue soy ribs, cassavas, lasagna, tuna salad (again all vegan) were all tasty!! I wish they would open in our neighborhood!!

Great mid-morning/afternoon spot for vegetarian/vegan and some gluten-free food that puts a creative, vegetarian twist on Puerto Rican fare. This family-run, casual spot is reasonably priced, and the menu changes regularly. Also, they deliver in the area for $1/person.

Open every day from 11 to 6 (although on Sundays, they may close at 3 PM).

The Most amazing 100% Vegan restaurant I have ever been, with great Puerto Rican flavors I just have to go Every Day, as a strict vegan that I am I've been looking for places for me to eat everyday, this is my working area and I have seen several places, but, I didn't found anything like this one, the quality of the Organic foods and the flavors that they have of my own traditional Puerto Rican home cooking are phenomenal, they have very affordable prices, great service and the place is very clean, they also have takeout, delivery, accessible parking.
