warm humble and delicious vegan food - Edit

Excelente lugar. I loved it. The owners and their siblings worked really hard to make this place happen, it's a vegan small family owned loving restaurant, not a fast food. I ate their signature veggie burger and it was yummm good , the lady served me was a sweetheart (we talked vegan) and the owner/chef came out to ask how was my burger when I was paying the check that's awesomeness. If you want to eat local vegan in Calle Loiza this is a great option. ...

Pros: latín local Puertorican vegan taste.

Diferente y especial - Edit

Amazing vegan food! - Edit

We went for lunch when it is cafeteria style. Everything is vegan and there are many options to try. Everything we had was amazing, but my favorite was the lasagna and soy ribs. A must visit for vegans in San Juan. Super friendly staff, too.

Pros: big portions, delicious food, good service

Very lovely, clean restaurant with bright natural light. The food is cafeteria style and all vegan. Incredibily delicious veganized Latin and Peurtoican food, awesome meat substitutes. Staff is very friendly too! I loved that it was all vegan so I didn't have to ask a million questions about each dish.

Pros: 100% vegan

Muy Rico! Gracia El Puto Vegano! - Edit

So, that's what I thought the sign said when I casually walked by this place on Calle Loíza today. I had to do a double take. If you speak Spanish you know this is not correct, but would be shockingly the most awesome name for anything ever. I might make some t-shirts that say just this, in fact. After doing a double-take... oh! The Vegan Spot! (literally Vegan Point) and not The F'n Vegan. I had the Vegan Chikn Piccatta and Penne, and was incredibly satisfied. This location has been open for about five months they told me and I hope only the best and more business comes their way. Super friendly staff and if you are staying anywhere near the Beach or North San Juan I give this place a five star recommendation. Me Gusta Mucho!

Reviews don't lie. MUST GO!! - Edit

I always set out in new towns in search of vegan spots. It's one of my favorite tourist modes of operation. I casually set out to visit this place based on the reviews and I was completely blown away. It's tragic that I won't be able to eat here everyday. If food like this was accessible no one would eat meat ever again. Side note, if you have meat eaters in your party they will enjoy the food here. The meat substitutes are hands down the best I've ever had. Seriously looks feels and tastes just like meat. This place could change the world!

Do not miss! - Edit

Finally made it here! There are not many reviews online for this place but the ones that are there are well deserved 5s! After strolling along the main stretch in Condado, we decided to make the stop here for dinner. We met Ernesto who puts the menu together who recommended the burger and taco for us. ( The lunch buffet was already over)

We ordered his suggestions and added a quesadilla to share. This food was so flavorful. The tortillas, if I understood properly are made from a gluten free cassava flour and added to the flavor of the taco and quesadilla. Ernesto kept checking in on us to make sure everything was good and he let me sample some of the macaroni salad he had left over from the lunch buffet. AMAZING! We took some to go to bring back to our hotel.

He explained that the buffet normal starts when they open at 11. He decides on the menu every morning so it is different pretty much everyday. The buffet goes until around 3-4 when most things run out. He then has the standard menu which includes the food we ordered, plus a few additional items that can be put together quickly. This place is a definitely a must try for the service and flavor.

Pros: Great, friendly service, Excellent local flavors, Nice selection

Cons: Parking, Area is a little sketchy, go during the day

AMAZINGGGGGG - Edit

Everything from the evening menu looked and tasted just fantastic. I ordered the veggie burger and oven baked fries on the side and everything was DE-LI-CI-OUS! The best part was that the burger was not your typical junk food - it had a nice veggie patty, shredded beetroots, greens and sprout between two amazing spelt buns! I am seriously comming back for more!

Pros: Cheap, Delicious, Has daily lunch choices and an eevening menu

Great vegan cafe, walkable from Condado - Edit

We walked here from Condado, it took us about 20 minutes I think but was well worth it. I got habichuelas (beans), rice, mofongo, and a tofu cheesecake.

It was the cheapest mofongo we had, and the 2nd best (best was Cafe Berlin). Staff was very friendly, and was great to find a vegan-only restaurant in PR.

I was sad we didn't have time to go a second time.

Pros: vegan, mofongo, inexpensive

Cons: location

Can't-Miss Vegan Spot! - Edit

El Punto Vegano is an authentic cafeteria-style Puerto Rican experience with a broad all-vegan menu, friendly staff, and delicious food. We particularly enjoyed the vegan burger, salad options, and the cupcakes! They also have a hot-food bar, some great smoothies, and several snacks you can buy to-go.

Casual atmosphere

Great vegan food with Puerto Rican flair - Edit

We are a vegan / vegetarian family of four. This winter vacation, we traveled to San Juan, Puerto Rico and Vieques island. On Calle Loiza near the Doubletree hotel, we were lucky to find this vegan restaurant for dinner. We tried cheese pizza, burger, taco, fruit smoothies, rice pudding and cheesecake (all vegan). They were delicious and so good that we returned the next day for the lunch buffet. Parsley rice and beans, barbecue soy ribs, cassavas, lasagna, tuna salad (again all vegan) were all tasty!! I wish they would open in our neighborhood!!

Pros: Tasty, Casual, Clean

Cons: Can't think of anything... simple interior, maybe?

Fantastic vegan food Puerto Rican style - Edit

Great mid-morning/afternoon spot for vegetarian/vegan and some gluten-free food that puts a creative, vegetarian twist on Puerto Rican fare. This family-run, casual spot is reasonably priced, and the menu changes regularly. Also, they deliver in the area for $1/person.

Open every day from 11 to 6 (although on Sundays, they may close at 3 PM).

Pros: Tasty and inexpensive, Friendly service, Menu always changing

Cons: not fancy if that's what you're looking for

Vegan Restaurant with Puerto Rican Style - Edit

The Most amazing 100% Vegan restaurant I have ever been, with great Puerto Rican flavors I just have to go Every Day, as a strict vegan that I am I've been looking for places for me to eat everyday, this is my working area and I have seen several places, but, I didn't found anything like this one, the quality of the Organic foods and the flavors that they have of my own traditional Puerto Rican home cooking are phenomenal, they have very affordable prices, great service and the place is very clean, they also have takeout, delivery, accessible parking.

Pros: accessible parking, easy taxi transportation

Cons: No breakfast
