I’d tried to go here before, but the tables were packed and they wouldn’t let me wait (too many already waiting) or get food to go. The next time I came to Antigua, I went earlier to avoid the crowd. I’m glad I did.

Update 4/19 - The mega vegan sandwich I had is no longer on the menu. However, they’ve added a seitan burger to their build-your-own-burger menu. While the sage flavor was a little too strong, it was delicious. Finding seitan on a menu is rare in Guatemala.

I truly LOVE this place! The food is amazing.. You can design your own burger, and they have I think 8 different types of vegan patties, soo many vegetables plus a looot of souces. It's incredibly rich and you are full for the rest of the day! The sweet potato fries are not oily at all, and super crispy. The place itself is located in a patio, which is as colorful as Guatemala itself! The owner is very helpful and attentively! It's my second time in Antigua and of course my second time at "la bruja". Can't wait to taste all the other dishes!

This is an awesome place to chill out and have a healthy delicious meal! There is a wonderful garden view and it’s a good place to meet other people because the tables are a little close. But you might be able to have a private table if you want that. I had a burger and the empanadas and they were both great. The salad is fantastic and so are the juices and smoothies. The fat fries are also very tasty and great. Some might consider the price to be a little high, but the food quality is excellent, so for me it was well worth it! The food digested well. There is a nice chocolate-like dessert. The owner speaks good English and is very friendly. They also sell granola and some other items. They close at 8 PM, but I once came at around 7:45 PM and they still served me and didn’t rush me to leave. I ate here three times on my four day trip to Antigua. I ate a few other good vegetarian restaurants here, but this one was my favorite!

You have to visit La Bruja while in Antigua! I am here for 8 weeks and can’t stop coming back. The food is delicious. There is so much variety I never have the same thing twice and I’ve never been disappointed. There is everything from super-healthy with loads of salad to piles of delicious hand cooked sweet potato fries. The setting is a beautiful, leafy and tranquil courtyard. The staff are always polite and attentive and the owner really cares about the food and his customers. The burgers are AMAZING! Enjoy everyone!

I loved this little gem in the cute food courtyard in downtown Antigua. They serve delicious vegetarian food and you're easily gonna find something on the menu if you need a light and nutritious meal. If you crave something filling but still healthy, their burgers are amazing! And as a bonus, you can order Argentinian alfajores and yerba mate tea. Not to be missed!

La Bruja is a cute little vegan restaurant hidden in a courtyard beside the main road. The megavegan sandwich is huge and you receive two patties stacked between a bun with a piece of bread in between. It also comes with French fries or salad. The French fries are homemade and very well spiced! I recommend 100%
