cool place, alternative to traditional places - Edit
During my stay in Cordoba I went there twice, I really liked the place a lot. It has a bar which is loaded with fresh fruits as they do amazingly big fruit juices for a good price. Besides they have all sorts of dishes, I had a plate of Humus which was really nice as it came with veggies. They people there are friendly and helpful and I assume they speak English but I'm not sure. Very close to the Mezquita and old quarter so great location.

Reasonably priced with some accidentally vegan options. This is one of my go-to places downtown.
Read moreThey serve typical Andalusian dishes that require minor or no modifications to be made vegan. The execution is good, and the portion sizes are more than reasonable.
Vegan options include toasts with salmorejo or mazamorra, soups, as well as all the juices. While the selection isn't huge, the staff is very knowledgeable and welcoming.
I would appreciate it if they offered plant milks for lattes or some protein-rich dishes. This is why I am not giving a 4-star score.

Read more🧭 came here for the avocado toast - "sold out" though we were there at opening
🧭 the hummus toast was just a giant piece of bland white bread covered in unseasoned hummus and then, essentially, a salad dumped atop (lettuce, carrot, tomato) - it was fine, but just didn't taste like anything
🧭 waitress did not know how to prioritize customer and even though we were the first ones there at opening, she proceeded to take the orders of THREE other tables before us while we just sat there waiting for her to remember we were even there - she didn't, eventually the chef came and took our order
🧭 the portions are massive and the sparkling water is a nice brand, hence the second star

A few days ago I went to La Bicicleta, looking for a vegetarian dinner. It's a small café/bar with an alternative design/atmosphere. It's in a fairly central location, 5-10 minutes east of the historic center.

The bad: The choice of vegetarian options was quite limited, mainly some tostadas (toasted bread with Hummus, Avocado or other stuff).
I wouldn't mind going again some day.

All perfect for vegans. Fantastic Salmorejo. Very generous portions. Hummus with vegetables amazing. The best beer in Spain. A beautiful surprise for vegans (even though the place of not explicitly for plant based eaters). Please, try it!!! Worth it!

Great dishes, finally a vegetarian restaurant in this area. Nice cozy place, complete vegetarian menu, and what I liked is that it still worked with local products so you would still feel like your in Spain in stead off any other country with a “trendy” veggie place. Good coffee also! Recommend it!

La Bicicleta is especially recommended for the first half of the day and snacks. I had a very tasty juice and a mighty vegan chocolate cake. Probably the first cake in my life that I didn't finish. For dinner, this doesn't seem to be the place to go, as there appear to be few large dishes. Also, rather for smaller groups, as it is a relatively small place. Pleasant atmosphere.

Read moreThe prices are great and the portion size is huge! One toast will probably be enough for you. I wanted to order 2 toasts and the guy told me to order just one, which was nice, since he could have made more money the other way. Staff hardly speaks any English and the menu is only in Spanish.
The toast is basically a huge slice of bread with some toppings. There's a few options as a vegan and the guy working there knew what vegan is.
My smoothie was great.
Therefore recommended.

Very nice bar/restaurant... They offer a variety of juices (fresh made by them), toast, gazpacho and dishes. Some of these are vegan. I tried the hummus that was really good, I took a gazpacho also good and I finished my lunch with a big and colorful fruit salad.
