I love their breakfast tacos and plate. All the vegan options are so tasty. The vegan fajita and repollo are my favorite. Friendly staff and short wait times for food. Grateful for vegan tacos in brownsville 💕

Seems like they’re cutting back on options - Edit
I went on a Sunday so options were limited but the menu is marked way less clearly than this time last year. Instead of an explicitly vegan section, items are now marked with a non descriptive “V” and this seems to mean vegetarian as breakfast items with egg also have the same marking. Very disappointed, I hope this is fixed.

Soooo Good! - Edit
Ive been frequenting this taqueria for months now and they started off with just 2 or 3 vegan tacos and now they have a full section of the menu for it. Their tacos are delicious, my favorite being the mushroom one. The only con is that their habanero salsa has chicken stock in it :((.

They have 5 different options for tacos that are Vegan. My favorite was the Champiñones Guisados. They are small so get the vegan 5 tacos and drink for $10. I can’t give them 5 starts on this app but they deserve it!

Five varieties of vegan tacos (Al pastor, 2 kinds of mushroom, fajitas, repollo guisado), chilaquiles with vegan cheese, incredible te de Jamaica. SO GOOD.

Hidden gem - Edit
They are located in a strip center and may not be easily seen. The hibiscus tacos were truly fajita meat like. The cabbage tacos were a nice veggie option. They were sold out of mushroom tacos when we were there. The quesadillas are just cheese. When you add in all the cilantro, onions, lime and hot sauce all of it livens up. I don’t think they have guacamole. I wish I had asked about avocado. We ended up making guacamole at home, and was a nice condiment with the tacos. Seemed like a family run business. Very nice people and good service. NOTE: 5 tacos are good for a one person entree. They are small.
