Cool place with delicious food - Edit
I went there with a friend and we both were watching our diet 🙈so we did not go for vegan sushi buffet which I thought was amazing with many many vegan options.
Read moreTried La la rolls and fried udons. La la rolls were spicy but beautifully presented. I really enjoyed those. Would recommend it to anyone who can handle bit of heat 🌶️💕 #vegansushibuffet

Japanese restaurant with excellent vegetarian and vegan options - Edit
This restaurant has been around for many years, and recently relocated into California Tower, with a new look and modern striking decor.
Read moreThe last page of the a la carte menu offers a large selection of vegetarian dishes, however in the last few years, they have also been offering green deals, where you can book to have freeflow vegetarian food for any two hours on Monday to Wednesday evenings. As the a la carte can get pricy, it may be better value to go for the vegetarian deal if it's being offered when you want to visit.
Service is good. Let them know if you are vegan when ordering so they can adapt the sauces as needed and let you know which of the veg dishes are unsuitable.
Starters:
- Spinach salad: it tastes like steamed and tender spinach, in a delicious sesame/peanut sauce
- Tofu salad: delicious pieces of battered tofu, with mixed salad in a moreish dressing
- Spicy vegetable tartar: this is mixed veg tempura in a spicy sauce, served on lettuce pieces (4 pieces). It was very popular with our group
Skewers (robatayaki): have tried most of the different skewers at different times. Favourite is the Sweet Potato. Don't find the tofu one to be very exciting.
Sushi rolls:
- Favourite one is the Mala roll with veg tempura, topped with avocado
- Also tried the Spicy La La roll as was tempted by the unique ingredients including beetroot, gingko nut, and tofu skin on top, but beware this one is quite hot, both from the sauce used inside and the jalapenos on top
Deep fried (agemono):
- Cauliflower tempura: this is a winner. This is a good value item as it's quite large, and tastes amazing. It had a sweet and sour sauce that was yummy, covered in sesame seeds, that came out sizzling! Our friends tried it and decided to order another as they liked it so much.
Pros: Lots of special vegetarian options, Good service, Great decor
Cons: Expensive so save up for it
