Very accommodating! - Edit
I did the buffet dinner and breakfasts and they would always make me something vegan and I could also use the buffet. Everything on the buffet is labeled with allergy codes so supper easy to pick things out!

It’s really difficult to find vegan options in this area, so this was an absolute dream! We visited Balestrand during off season so it was very quiet and options were even more limited than usual.
Read moreWe stayed in the area for two nights, the first night we visited the bar and I had a beetroot and lentil burger, it was delicious and came with lots of toppings including avocado, chilli, red onion and red sauce. If ordering this be sure to let them know you don’t want cow cheese or mayo.
The restaurant usually has a three course set menu that changes daily. Honestly I didn’t have super high expectations for the vegan menu as it’s something that needs to be requested when booking, however they absolutely blew me away!
I had pepper soup and fresh bread to start, followed by cauliflower steak with veggie emulsions, then a berry sorbet with fresh berries and coconut cream. Such a gorgeous meal made with fresh ingredients.
The on site sommelier is also happy to research wines to ensure you can have a vegan wine tasting! 100% recommend.
