Perfect vegan lunch

The staff was really friendly and fast. We wrote vegan in the comments section during the online reservation procedure.
The food was amazing, we never had a vegan kaiseki before.

Dine upmarket

Note the restaurant name is in Japanese and Google maps may take you up a side street and there is an art gallery restaurant which I went into first and may be worth a try as they said veganising the menu was an option.

I made a special trip based on previous reviews and told they were not offering the vegan set menu today!

I must have looked so sad and staff member thought about it and said if I give him time he will prepare. What kindness!

And the food/place/ambience didnt disappoint. Only 3 other people there at 12 noon and it seats 16. Its open plan with seating in a U shape. I tried to take pictures ans omitting the other diners.
I definitely felt nourished (sufficient protein too) and not overfed which leans into how Okinawans eat to 80% full.

Nice meal

Walking into this place feels like walking into a gallery. It was relatively quiet for lunch but I would still book to make sure you get the vegan set. The food was traditional Okinawa style food. For some reason they gave everyone else except us a drink menu and before we realised we were halfway through our meal. I did not enjoy the dessert of beans/barley. Overall it was a nice experience for a price relative to the venue at 3500Y each.

Worth the visit!

I was intrigued by the thought of trying traditional Ryukyu cuisine and I was definitely not disappointed. When you order the vegan course you will get a feast! I also received an explanation sheet in English about each item, but if you have any questions left you can also ask the staff which were really helpful and also speak English. I paid ¥3500 for the course which is a valid price for the quality and service.

Pros: The variety of the course, Modern interior, Helpful staff

1 vegan menu

Non-vegan restaurant with 1 vegan menu. It consists of a lot of small okinawan classic dishes. Tasty food and really nice interior✨

Chance to eat okinawan specialties

Vegan lunch has some foods I really wanted to try, like the peanut tofu, which are hard to find vegan elsewhere. Very Okinawan. I had lunch and it was not crowded, but call ahead for dinner, especially as the website only lists the vegan option at lunch.

Pros: Authentic Okinawan dishes, Delicious, Relaxing atmosphere

Cons: Limited vegan options, If crowded you could sit next to strangers

Ask for the vegan menu

They can accommodate vegan, you just have to ask as it is not displayed. We went for dinner and the food was very good, Okinawan. Would highly recommend. The restaurant is also calm and quiet. Also, Happy Cow hours are wrong/need updating, as it Is open for dinner as well as lunch.

Pros: Creative food, Okinawa food

Cons: Have to ask for vegan, not displayed
