It’s okay

I’ve been here many times over the years. It’s never consistent. I’ve gotten hard avocado in the past, barely any avocado, and nearly a whole avocado. I stopped ordering rolls because it was so inconsistent so I started ordering ramen. Their vegan ramen is tasty, but I always get a stomach ache after eat here. Without fail, every time. So I haven’t been in a while, but I’m tempted to try again since it’s been a while. They do have deals on saki from time to time with an order of ramen so that’s a good time to go. They have a nice outdoor patio too which is pretty cute.

Fab vibes, fab soup

Exquisite vegan ramen with clear noodles. Delicious full bodied broth that they reduce for 24 hours and unique non traditional local toppings that are served nearly raw, which is interesting. I added extra corn. Great veggie gyoza as well. It’s in a super cool indoor/outdoor concept building and the employees are all easygoing. We were told there are ghosts that live there as well.

Great vegan options!

Had the spicy 🌶️ vegan ramen
Teriyaki bowl w/tofu
Hippie roll
Ordered Togo but wish we would have ate there because they had great music and the cutest patio. Customer service was also excellent!

Pros: Food , Ambiance , Service

Cons: Roll was on the smaller side

Meh

Been here twice and not very impressed. First time was right after they opened. Had their veggie ramen and it was cold, gray, flavorless, and smelled like sweaty socks. Not cheap either. About a month ago I came back to try their veggie sushi. They only have 2 kinds (avocado and cucumber). Place is a little grubby and food took awhile even though there were at least 5 staff standing around and place was pretty empty. Rolls were small for the price and just ok. Options, portion size, and quality of food can be much improved. I won't be back.

Always good.

This time they ran out of vegan noodles for ramen but I enjoy their spicy edamame. I also tried their teriyaki veggie bowl and avocado roll this time. I like their spicy vegan ramen base but couldn’t get it this time like usually do.

Only ate the miso soup

The sushi roll was so small for $14. Miso soup was ok.

Pros: Burdock was cool to see in a roll

Cons: Expensive, Small portion, Not many options

Vegan ramen

They had vegan ramen with pickled beets, grilled veggies and glass noodles. Wasn’t a huge fan of the mushroom broth.

Pros: Vegan grilled veggies and ramen, Great staff, Comfortable outside seating

Cons: One type of vegan broth

Decent ramen and basic sushi

Their standard veggie ramen is good, although I agree that it seems it should come with a few additional free add-ins. The teriyaki is okay, not great. The avocado sushi was good and fresh. Adorable little heated patio to sit in. It's a great option to have in town.

Great place

What a fun great place. Very dog friendly patio with heaters. Very friendly, helpful staff.
I had the veggie ramen with fried tofu.. it was delicious! My husband had the the spice veggies ramen and loved his also. We also had a cucumber roll which was very creatively served.
We will be back!

Pros: Great vegan options

Vegan ramen leaves a lot to be desired

The restaurant itself is super cool and quirky with a great outside patio. The staff is friendly and helpful. However, I was pretty disappointed with the vegan ramen. I ordered the spicy veggie, which came with a tomato soup-like base (not clear on the menu), gluten free noodles that were like limp spaghetti, and a handful of soggy bell peppers, onions, and two pieces of broccoli. If I’d known better, I would’ve at least asked for the rice noodles. Overall, it felt like this particular vegan option was an afterthought. It’d be better if it came with tofu and garlic chips (you can add these for extra $—on top of the $16 starting price, which is the same price as all the more extravagant non-vegan options). I only share this in hopes someone reads it and spruces up the vegan options because I love this little spot so much!

Pros: Cool vibe, Nice staff, Dog-friendly patio

Cons: Expensive for what you get with the vegan options, Not great vegan options

Great point about the price; the veggies are cheap and tofu isn't exactly a bank breaker. It always bugs me when I have to pay the same price as meat options when clearly our option doesn't cost as much to produce.

Fun & Funky Spot with Vegan Options

We were happy to find this fun n funky kind of out of the way spot in Los Osos during our trip to Montana de Oro State Park. The outdoor patio area was the perfect place to enjoy lunch. We tried both vegan ramen options, and of the two, I think I preferred the Veggie Miso. Spicy Tomato was just a tad too spicy for me to go all-in on, though I did eat our leftovers the next day. We also tried the shishito pepper appetizer plate. I think I’m a bit spoiled by living in LA with access to really amazing vegan cuisine because I thought, “eh... I’ve had better.” But our meal hit the spot and I’d probably go again should we return to the area. I’d like to try their veggie sushi options next time.
