Exactly What Dussmann Was Missing - Edit
I was genuinely excited when Kultur Kafé opened. As a long-time Dussmann customer, I had often wished there was a café where you could take a break, relax, and recharge between browsing books and this is exactly that.
Read moreLocated on the second floor, the café features a beautiful window front overlooking the busy street below. I really enjoyed sitting there, watching the city go by while taking a quiet break. The interior is modern and minimalist, with plenty of wood, a record player, and a calm, welcoming atmosphere.
We visited not long after the opening, so the selection was still quite limited. At the time, there was only one vegan pastry a croissant and two cakes. I believe the range has already expanded since then. The vegan options were clearly labeled, and plant-based milk alternatives were available as well.
I ordered a matcha latte, which pleasantly surprised me. It was well prepared and much better than I had expected. My companion had a coffee, which was also very good.
Overall, it’s exactly the kind of café I had hoped Dussmann would open. A lovely place to pause for a moment before continuing your book shopping. I’ll definitely be back.

If you need a little breather when book shopping - Edit
Central cafe on the second floor of a book store. Offers oat milk and has usually at least two sweet (cookies, croissant, muesli) and one savoury (panini, hummus, grilled veggies) options. Can be quite busy at times and feels rather urban and simple than cozy or anything else.
