I've been to this restaurant before, but in the old location. This was the first time in this new location. The space is well decorated, comfortable, great for a meal with family, to catch up with friends or a romantic meal. The staff is suuuper nice, and the food delicious and not pricey. I love "torta de laranja" and it's super rare to find it at vegan places, so I was so happy when I saw it in the menu!

O staff é muito simpático e atencioso, o ambiente é muito relaxado, o espaço é muito convidativo, com cores harmoniosas, muito bem decorado, requintado. A comida é muito deliciosa, bem preparada, com doses bem servidas e preços acessíveis. Existe comida para todos os gostos, saudável/nutritiva e "fast food", existem sugestões do talentoso chefe muito bem elaboradas. Existem várias bebidas à escolha, incluindo chá, água filtrada servida em garrafas de vidro com muita classe, sumos, vinhos, etc. Existe mais do que uma opção de sobremesa. Tem opções sem glúten. Foi um jantar de sábado muito agradável, eu escolhi a salada kukicha muito nutritiva e deliciosa, a sopa de cogumelos era muito deliciosa. Eu e a minha família estamos muito agradecidos e adoramos tudo.

Read moreVery good service and very tasty food. We shared some cauliflower wings with spicy glaze, to start. Then had one of their 3 "specials" which was a tofu, seaweed, and mash combo, a bit like a "fish pie" which was outstanding, and a "beyond" burger which was very good but with really outstanding fries..never tasted fries as good as that before!
Desert was a salted caramel ice cream with peanut brittle and chocolate sauce...😋😋

Location is a little tricky to find, set back from the main road with access via an alley or through a neighboring parking lot, but it is well worth the effort to visit this lovely restaurant.
Read moreVery friendly staff and a beautiful, unpretentious and cozy space. My partner and I tried the soup and burger of the day, and a crispy tofu dish with Thai style rice. Everything was fresh and delicious. The daily water, infused and flavored with fresh ingredients is a lovely option. We shared a brownie for dessert and it was delightful.
Prices could be considered high, but they seem very fair considering the excellent service, potion sizes, and quality of food.
Finally, we had our dog with us and she was specifically welcomed into the dining room and offered her own bowl of water at the table in addition to being spoiled with several veggie dog treats. She loved it and so did we.
We are already looking forward to our next visit to Leiria and will definitely be stopping by Kukicha for a meal.

No decorrer de uma longa viagem desde o Algarve e com destino a Gaia, achamos que merecíamos um bom jantar! Sem grandes expectativas, já sabemos que nem sempre temos as melhores opções, encontrámos este restaurante em Leiria. Que agradável surpresa!
Read moreRefeições muito bem confeccionadas e com excelente tempero. Opções diferentes do habitual, mas a lembrar o tradicional. Ainda nos foi lançado um pequeno desafio de adivinhar a partir de que ingrediente era feito o sashimi (por sinal maravilhoso!) e não vou estragar a surpresa. Quem lá for que tente adivinhar também! 😉
