Separate vegan menu!

Oh my gosh so many options!!! They had a separate vegan menu with tons of options and even clarified that it was vegan when they brought out the dishes.
There wasn't much of a place to sit down and eat in the restaurant, but they were still happy to seat us! I'd definitely go back :)

Salt and Pepper Tofu is a Fave

They offer a pretty extensive vegan menu. The salt and pepper tofu was the favorite. The salt and pepper shrimp was also really good. Enjoyed the vegan sesame chicken. The fried rice, crab ragoons and wonton soup were just ok.

Good food but the inside leaves something to be desired

I got the vegan crab rangoons, vegan shrimp fried rice, and vegan sesame chicken. I loved that there was such a variety of vegan options, all on a separate section of the menu. The food was overall good and the portions were pretty large, especially of the vegan sesame chicken. The vegan crab rangoons did have a very distinct vegan cream cheese taste that was a little off-putting, so I likely won't order those again. My only real complaint, though, was that the inside of the restaurant was a mess. There was a lot of junk that seemed to be stored toward the back of the seating area and even toward the front there was a lot of random objects and it felt dirty.

Pros: good food, friendly staff, good variety of options

Cons: dirty

Best wontons ever

Their vegan menu is huge! And the fried vegan wontons are one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten! I've made special trips just to get them :)

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Good food and decent prices

So yummy!

There were a ton of vegan options at this place, and I was extremely satisfied with my meal. It’s really easy to order a ton of stuff here and over eat, so be careful.

Pros: Lord of vegan options , Deliciousness

Cons: I end up over eating because it’s so good

Vegetarian not Vegan

The owners do not know the difference between vegan and vegetarian. When asked what kind of cream cheese is in the vegan crab rangoons the associate said it was the same as in non vegan. We told her that would make it not vegan and asked to speak to the manager. We were on hold for a long time and bounced around and then the manager finally told us they use soy protein for vegan products. We clarified that we are concerned about the cream cheese not the “meats” and he finally said “oh coconut milk” for it. It seemed sketchy so we asked for the ingredient list. They were unable to give this information. Basically admitting to not having vegan crab rangoons. They then panicked and told us we ordered the non vegan ones (we didn’t). We asked them to email us a copy of their receipt that says we ordered the wrong ones, they said we’d have to come get it. We said we were unable to come down there and to please email it. They finally took our email and said “we’ll try” and hung up. What we ordered either way should have nothing to do with the ingredients list of a product and the fact they could not provide this information is extremely sketchy. They then called us back and said they were out of the vegan ones and gave us the regular ones without telling us (unacceptable). We ended up asking again what is in the vegan cream cheese; after another long hold they came up with an answer: “coconut oil and corn starch or something.” I think it’s safe to say that the restaurant doesn’t even have vegan crab Rangoon and doesn’t know that dairy/egg is not vegan (which would make all of their “vegan” products a concern).

For what it's worth, I'm chomping down on the vegan crab rangoon right now and it is most definitely vegan. No cheese here. They must have learned from their mistake since you last reviewed this.

Blew our minds!!

My husband and I ordered the vegan crab Rangoons, vegan sesame chicken combination plate (with vegan chicken fried rice and vegan egg roll), and vegan combination Singapore noodles with vegan chicken, beef, and shrimp. We could not believe how delicious it all was…AND 100% VEGAN!!

Pros: An entire section of the menu that is 100% vegan., Very reasonably priced., Quick service.

Cons: Since entire menu isn’t 100% vegan…, …I can’t give Kuki 5 stars…but totally would!!

Are you really sure it was vegan? Did you ask about the cream cheese?

It's 100% vegan. I am, this actual moment, eating them. Trust me, no cheese at all. There was definitely a bit of a language barrier, though, and I have a suspicion that perhaps that is what caused so much miscommunication with the poster who was complaining about it.

There is no way anybody could mistake these for the real thing. They're good, but anybody with taste buds could tell this isn't cream cheese.

Delicious vegan Chinese meals here!

Kuki has a menu filled with great vegan options. My vegan "beef" and broccoli was delicious. The owner readily said he can customize a meal if I like and was friendly as well. I'll be a long time customer after this first-time visit.

Pros: Extensive Vegan menu , Online order was ready on time

Cons: None from my experience

Don’t OD on fried foods

I heard about this place through the Baltimore Vegans group on FB and when we finally drove over there we ordered so many things. It was yummy but I have to warn people not to eat too many fried things because I was sick to my stomach the whole next day… we had the crab Rangoon, egg rolls, sesame and General Tso’s chicken - all fried! The crab Rangoon actually tasted so creamy I was nervous that maybe it really was dairy?! But dairy tastes so disgusting to me now that I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have been able to eat it if it really had been!! The next time we order from there we are going to stick with just egg rolls as a fried item and get everything else non-fried and hopefully I won’t feel sick the next day!

Pros: Soooo many vegan options

Cons: Not very inviting dining in space

Delicious!

How did I not know about the separate vegan menu at this place?! Finally, a great option for when you really want Chinese food in the area! The combo lomein was classic and delicious. Their wonton soup was more of a veggie soup but I still liked it. Affordable and great portions. Super nice staff!

Pros: Separate vegan menu, Prices, Parking
