Vegan/vegetarian meals served at Plaza of the Americas on the University of Florida campus and Krishna House off of West University Ave. Food is served Monday-Friday from 11am-2pm (11am-1:30pm on campus). If vegan, make sure to ask for the vegan option on Tuesdays and Fridays as some dishes contain dairy. Open Mon-Fri 11:00am-2:00pm.

It was pouring rain but I found a spot to park outside the house for a hot second. Grabbed 2 mac n cheeze w/BBQ tofu lunches that each came with some salad and bomb dressing. Super friendly people there too. Thanks !

I love how they offer so much food for so little. The people in line were quite nice and complimented my skates :,). They definitely are a great asset of the Gainesville community. Bringing affordable vegan options to the campus is so sweet (plus it tastes great and is filling). I love the message and will be eating again!

Some days are better than others tho. Mon, wed, and fri food is easy 5/5. The mains on tue and thur arent bad per say just they dont really hit the spot but for that price i really cant complain.

This is an excellent place to get vegan food. Prices are very low only 5 bucks for a plate and you get wholesome tasty quality food. They have different options for each day of the week so make sure to look it up on their website or social media for the particular day you're going but it's always good!

If you get the pack of 10 meal cards, one meal ends up being only $4 which is super reasonable, especially considering you can bring a Tupperware container for leftovers. Different food served each day of the week and each is amazing!

Absolutely love Krishna lunch -- I've never tried ordering it for delivery or picking up from the house directly, but it's my go-to lunch when I visit campus! My favorite menu items are the BBQ tofu and mac and cheese! Also, the salad dressing is liquid gold and the desserts are always yummy!

Krishna lunch is a staple in Gainesville. They are all vegetarian/vegan and it’s always delicious. Wednesday (bbq day) and Friday (chili day) are my favorite but you can go wrong on any day.

I can't believe there was never a HappyCow listing for Krishna Lunch until I made one just now. The food is cheap, delicious, filling, and the volunteers are the nicest people ever. If you bring your own container, you can transfer the food from your plate to the container, then bring the plate back for seconds (there are some restrictions bc of covid). Almost everything is vegan (with the exception of dairy in some dishes but there's always a vegan alternative). Besides sports, it's one of the biggest parts of UF's culture I think
