Variety Hits the Spot

What a wonderful establishment right opposite parliament. Perfect for a post-parliament tour lunch with a type of cousins to suit all palettes. I had lasagna whilst my wife had a Thai curry with Indian sweet. Cheap, sustainable, faithful background music and a relaxing environment. To top it off, the taste of the food really hot the spot for us both. Highly recommended!

Pros: Variety of cuisine and taste, Environment, location, Price

Cons: None

Delicious, convenient, friendly staff

Best vegan lunch in the CBD. A regular plate includes rice, curry, salad and sweet - unbeatable ! Their lasagne is rich and creamy too !

Good, cheap, in the city

In a good mid city location, cheap, and basically always fully vegan, apart from dairy occasionally. At the start if you are not familiar with the Uni it can be hard to find but easy to spot after the first couple of times. Very affordable!

Cheap and delicious.

I love the simplicity of it all. Just a few choices. I had the $6 Krishna Plate and it was delicious. No artsy café, but good and cheap food.

Pros: Cheap, Delicous, Kind staff

Cons: No beautiful setting

Affordable and tasty

A tasty mixture of vegan cuisine at an affordable price. I had the $11 deal which was ample. The setting is in the side of the Law School building near the library.

Pros: All Vegan, Affordable

Great for cheap gluten free vegan food

Almost all the food (and all the curries and salads) are gluten free and vegan. Very affordable too

Friendly and casual experience

A rotating set menu for lunch at a very reasonable price. This little cafe is situated inside the law school building of Victoria University with ample seating to share with plenty of energetic undergrads. Portions were great. Rice, curry, and side salad for $5 and add dessert and samosa for another $3. Good for groups and kids

Good food

Buffet/canteen food, was pretty busy but enough seating and the queue went down quickly. My only issue was it was a bit hard to distinguish between the vegan options and those with dairy in them, whilst trying to move along the counter at a reasonable pace. The food was tasty though, as was the smoothie, and good value.
