Surprisingly delicious Korean food - Edit
After a long day of driving from San Jose, we ate at Koreana; fantastic tofu bibimbap, vegetable wontons, with a side of kimchi and a bottle of good shoju. We were so pleasantly surprised to find this spot in Winnemucca

Wonderfully Underwhelming - Edit
As tired travelers looking for a good meal with vegan options, we were so optimistic. We soon learned they were out of tofu. Then we were told they would serve us a hearty bowl of kimchi. Turned out they served us the bottom of the barrel of kimchi, about a shot glass full. So we asked for extra vegetables, and they agreed. It seems they must have been running low on vegetables, because there was a pittance of vegetables and no promised broccoli.
Read morePros: The place had air conditioning , The server was nice and called the lady, Gorgeous., The iced tea was good
Cons: No tofu, No veggies, No kimchi

Authentic Gem - Edit
We LOVED our meal.
Read moreClean, authentic Korean dishes.
Vegan items are clearly marked (as has been stated here.) The owner's son is vegan so they know.
The (Korean) wife does the cooking. She is delightful. The husband works here too and is nice.
We had the special Tofu Mongolian Grill.....YUM!!!....and the Tofu Bibimbap. Also YUM!!!
Unfortunately, they were sold out of the vegan wonton appetizer.
We finished with two different flavors of delicious mochi.
We'll be back!

Very tasty vegan items! - Edit
My husband and I were passing through the little town of Winnemucca on our way from Portland, Oregon to Las Vegas, Nevada and to our happy surprise we found this lovely little local spot that has several clearly marked vegan selections on their menu. Unfortunately they were all out of vegetable wontons but we ordered the tofu bibimbap bowl (be sure to specify no egg)and the vegetable Yakisoba.
Read moreBoth dishes were flavorful, colorful, chock full of vegetables that were cooked to perfection. The service staff were a bit slow but VERY friendly so that made up for it. I just wish they had come back to check in with me because I’d asked for extra hot chili sauce, which was forgotten, and the water that they served us tasted like perfume (luckily I had a water bottle in the car that I retrieved).
I’d definitely stop in again anytime I’m in Winnemucca!
Pros: Clearly marked vegan items, Colorful dishes, Authentic flavors
Cons: Slow service staff, Out of vegetable wontons, Water tasted like perfume

Great vegan options - Edit
Vegan options are clearly labeled. The wontons were great! The vegan bipimbap was also great! The terriaki bowl was okay. Very nice of them to have mochi as a vegan dessert. It wasn't the freshest mochi ever, but all mochi is delicious. Would definitely come back. They had a few vegan ramen dishes we didn't try
