Vegan Hotteok - Edit
I ordered the kimchi and japchae Hotteok and it was delicious! The filling was very flavorful and the outside was nice and crispy; you can tell everything is made with care. The owner was also very lovely and explained the menu and what was vegan. I really recommend trying this place as there aren't many vegan Korean food spots in Ottawa

Great little spot in Hintonburg - Edit
Take out spot on Armstrong, just west of the Parkdale market. If you get as far west as Holland, you've gone too far! Most of the menu is vegan with some dishes with cheese. The owner is great, and will walk you through the entire menu and answer any questions. They have a small space, so only a few tables outside, but you can peek in to watch them cooking the food fresh from scratch.
Read morePortions are pretty reasonable, and the fresh flavours are amazing. They have been doing the Ottawa markets for a few years and are really knowledgeable about vegan requirements.
