Part of the Kopan Monastery on the hills of the Solukhumbu region north of Kathmandu. Canteen looks like a cafeteria but menu is a la carte. Has nice view of the surrounding.

Good coffee with a view

Kopan canteen offers excellent coffee (but no plant milk) and weekly changing lunch options beside the menu. Up there you have a great view over the valley.

Canteen opens at 8 am, but visitors are allowed to visit the Monastery by 9 am.

Tipp: Public talks on Buddhism from Monday to Friday start at 10 am (except in November).
