Nicely decorated inside, cosy. Next to a street and with limited seating outside. Fair prices for Vienna. Would give five stars if there were more healthy options (side dishes are basmati rice or french fries). The veggies taste good.
So glad we stumbled upon Kook while walking around. It’s a charming little restaurant run by a very hospitable man. The vegan options are clearly-marked and delicious. They also have a rose water and saffron drink that is AMAZING. Definitely worth checking out!
Kook is a tiny and not too well known spot close to Yppenplatz which offers amazingly good vegan options of traditionally non vegan Persian dishes. Every day comes with an own set of dish-options - at least on of them is vegan. Additionally, there are mains that are available every day - again, including several vegan options are.
The food is freshly cooked, the spices used are amazingly good - it is definitely worth a try! Additonally, the home-made lemonades are really really good.
Kook is a small, cozy place, that offers a nice atmosphere - places outside are limited, but the inside of the restaurant is very inviting.
