Kontor Eismanufaktur - Danziger Str

After reading about this café here on happy cow we had high expectations, but we were very disappointed. It said here that it would be open at 12.00, but on the door it said 13.00, we were there 13.40, but it was still not open, and then we were not very politely told by the staff that it opened 14.00. They had no donuts, and we didn't think that the ice cream was that amazing or worth going there for. The staff was not very friendly either.

best vegan ice cream! very Innovative and always new creations. but the classic flavors are great, too. I love the Spaghetti Eis.

This is vegan ice cream heaven. They have a big choice of interesting ice cream falvours. I even had vegan pistachio ice cream. I could not be happier. Just perfect on a hot day!

I've been here so many times and I can say that this is def the best ice cream in Germany (or at least Berlin haha)!

My friends and I absolutely loved this place! We went there every day during our stay in Berlin. The flavours were great, staff was friendly, and the icecream was quite cheap.

What can I say? Us Finns love ice cream but vegan selection is still scarce. So to stay in Berlin near this place was like a dream come true. The first visit was almost ridicilous since we didn't know what to choose. But then we came back several times trying to go through all the flavors, but they changed daily. We did our best though. Tried the more classic options as well as the adventurous ones. Cucumber + mint for exemple was very good! My favorite must have been "Crazy peanut" or pistachio.

They have sorbets as well as ice creams. The ones I hade were really good. Also some special flavors such as 'peanut pretzel' which was very tasty.

The selection of vegan ice cream here is good - they have actual ice cream as well as sorbet, with optional extras like caramel and chocolate sauces, and crispy waffles. They also have an option for small 'kid sized' scoops that are cheaper - so you can sample more flavours obviously :p. Staff very nice. I recommend the Nach 8 and gurke/mintze jogurt flavours - really great.

€1.30 for a scoop, €1 for a kid portion

Only thing that would be better is more optional toppings and maybe an option to have a sundae type thing.

I went to this location last monday (my last day in Berlin) hoping to get some great vegan ice cream before I left, but it was closed! Looking through the window it looked very nice, but that just made it more disappointing. I was there pretty much at opening time so I waited half an hour but still nobody came! I understand that things can come up but there was no note on the door or anything explaining the closure. After going there, waiting and coming back my time in Berlin was done. Really disappointing!

Really, this is by far the best ice-cream in town. I've been there countless times - probably more than a hundred by now. (No joke.)

Their ice cream is creamy, delicious and they come up with new flavours every week.

My favourite flavour and definitely the most popular is "Crazy Peanut". I mean seriously, it's just like eating snickers - but even better.

I could eat this all day, every day.

Loads of flavours to choose from. I had a peanut butter and a hazelnut (sugar free so good for my diabetic boyfriend) and they were both delicious - you wouldn't know they were vegan. In fact I think they were the best ice creams I have ever tasted!

Has outdoor seating but shame it's next to a busy road. Wish there were more of these places!

This place was just what I was looking for after a very disappointing lunch and exploring the city by foot all day long. They have a original and very tasty selection of ice cream ( like Mozart Kugel), but I would highly recommend the yogurt blueberry ice-cream and my boyfriend claimed the chocolate ice-cream to be the best one he ever ate! They offer a variety of servings, like the classical in a cone, cup, classical variations (like spaghetti ice-cream) and toppings. The best thing was the chocolate cover you can add, very, very yummy!

Where I live we don't have any vegan ice cream shops so this was such treat. 1,50 euro for one scoop on a waffle cone. I got cookies and cream. I enjoyed the many chocolate flecks and the big pieces of oreo-like cookies. I am definitely going more than a couple times here!

Went to the Green Market Berlin yesterday to get DOUGHNUTS!!!!! So sad when I got there that they were sold out! But, just around the bend was a long line of anticipating ice cream connoisseurs leading up to Kontor Eismanufaktur! I decided to join the que and have some of what must be so delicious to form such a crowd in such cold, damp weather. I got a cone with belgian chocolate and black sesame. I devoured it thinking I had gone to vegan ice cream heaven! I especially enjoyed the chocolate! I left feeling only half as disappointed as when I saw the doughnuts sold out sign. I later learned that the doughnuts sell out of the Kontor Eismanufaktur on Danziger :) I know where I'll be spending my summer weekends :)

Lovely little ice cream parlour with lots of delicious flavors on offer. Outside seating with some deck chairs, perfect for enjoying an ice cream in the sun :) We didn't try the doughnuts, but they looked amazing too...

We went to try out this place just yesterday and we weren't diappointed. The ice cream and the wafer tasted incredibly good. We had different types and also spaghetti ice cream with vegan cream inside. Friendly service, prices not cheap but okay for the area. We'll be back!

I just had the vegan brownie vegan ice cream in a sugsr cone here, and it is incredible! Creamy, rich, and perfect. the recipe is just water and cocoa. highly recommended!
