Restaurant in Level 2 Dining Hall of the Venerable Hong Choon Memorial Hall. On weekdays offers 3 vegan dishes with brown and white rice. On weekends and special Buddhist holidays has vegan menu options that may include vegetables, noodles, rice, deep-fried savory options, konjak, and other dishes (see photos). All bread and baked goods sold on-site contain milk. Open Mon-Fri 9:00am-12:30pm, Sat-Sun 9:00am-2:00pm.

Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery, Singapore

Unlike the current labelling on HappyCow, this venue is neither all-vegan nor claims to be all-vegan. They clearly advertise milk tea and cheese bread. Staff advise all the bread they bake and sell contains dairy.
They do a bento box service Mo-Fr; 3 veg, brown or white rice and for sit only, soup. At time of writing this is $2 sit in and $3 take away. Mo-Fr, they always stop serving no later than 12.30 pm except on 3 major holidays.
Sat & Sun is an extensive counter service of vegetables and savouries. Sa & Su they usualy stop serving around 13.30. It's very affordable value. Staff are nice. Atmosphere is also nice when patrons aren't blasting music out on youtube on their phone.

Simple and Delicious Caipeng

Always happy to visit Happy Realm (the name of their veg canteen) and support the temple. I think the veg canteen is open everyday but good to check on the website or call them when closer to public holidays.

Pros: Veg canteen , Hot bowl of soup, Bread selection

Hi grateveg,

Their hrs have changed and are now listed as 7 days, 9 am - 2 pm. Bento boxes M - F, extensive counter service Sat and Sun. Service stops though when food runs out, usually before 1 pm.
