Vegan cake heaven - Edit
Amaziiiiiing!!! There were eight (!!!) different cakes to choose from, I took the pistachio. The price was only 3,5€ and it was super delicious. Not overly sweet but rich and flavourful. Will definitely visit them every time I am in Meran 😍

This cafe offers plenty of different vegan cakes that are also clearly labelled. We went for a pistachio cake. Loved it so much we came back the next day

Wonderful sweet treats - Edit
Large selection of refined patisserie products. We bought several types of vegan cake/gateaux to take home. The raspberry one was simply wow!! One was a bit dry (probably a few days old), but the rest was amazing and tasted eerily like their non-vegan equivalent :)
Read moreYou can also order their cakes from Café Prantl next door and have them there together with your coffee. Café Maria Theresia in the city centre sells them, too.
Hopefully some more local, traditional baked goods that are vegan will follow sooooon...
