Low calorie flavorful shaved ice

For nurses week, the hospital I work at brought the Kona Ice truck and we were able to get free shaved ice! There were about 10 flavors to choose from, though on the website it seems like there are well over 50 overall! The Klassic flavor syrup is just made of water, sugar, sodium benzoate, and citric acid and is only 50 calories but with 13 g of sugar. You can pour your own syrup at the truck so it's difficult to get the perfect amount - we either didn't get quite enough so all the ice wasn't flavored, or way too much and we had a syrupy soup. The taste was great though. A great sweet treat on a hot day.
