Outstanding vegan food - Edit
We absolutely loved every bite of our meal! Despite offering not the biggest portions and being quite pricey, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Make sure to try their flatbread as it was maybe the best we ever had. The staff was incredibly friendly, also giving us tips on what to do and where to go in Penang/Georgetown.

Tasty Malaysian Food - Edit
My partner and I both ordered the rendang with a flatbread and we enjoyed the dish. The courgette pieces were well cooked and the sauce was nicely seasoned but it didn't really wow us. There were some herbs and bits of pickled papaya on the plate which added some different textures and flavours. The meal was tasty without being truly great and I feel it would have benefitted from some more sauce. The bread was generally quite well made, it was maybe a bit thick and my partner thought it tasted just a little bit sweet.
Read moreWe also got a plate of inche kabin. These were marinated and fried hericium mushrooms served with rice crackers and a tangy sauce. These were delicious, the mushrooms tasted great and had wonderful texture. The rice crackers and the sauce combined with the mushrooms made for a great bite with different textures and flavours.
We got lempeng for dessert. These were coconut pancakes topped with passion fruit, mango and a scoop of coconut ice cream. My partner really enjoyed this whilst I wasn't so keen on the flavour of the pancakes.
I got a lychee spritzer which was sweet, cold and refreshing, which was exactly what I was looking for. My partner got an iced chocolate to drink, it was very enjoyable and chocolatey. It didn't seem to be sweetened so it might not be for everyone.

Truly stunning food - traditional dishes veganised - Edit
This is an elegant restaurant with absolutely stunning food - Everything we had was delicious, couldn’t recommend it enough!
Read moreThe staff were also exceptionally helpful, friendly and kind, - advising on the menu when we asked and explaining each dish! While potentially pricy for Penang, you get what you paid for and our meal (for two with starters, sides and drinks) still came to around £20 - so by UK standards it is extraordinary value!!
