A vegan Japanese lunch set is available upon prior request, which includes rice, soup, and various side dishes using local vegetables and tofu. The contents of lunch may change seasonally. Call or direct message via Instagram to reserve a vegan meal in advance. Open Mon 11:00am-5:00pm, Wed-Sun 11:00am-5:00pm. Closed Tue, and 1st and 3rd Mon of each month.

Cute Japanese Restaurant near Mt. Iwaki - vegan lunch available with reservation - Edit
I went here when my parents were visiting and we were staying in a cabin on Mt. Iwaki last summer. I made a reservation by DM on instagram to have a vegan lunch there about a week or so in advance. I wasn't told what they would serve at the time of reservation. I think that the contents of the lunch are likely to change depending on when you go.
Read moreIt was a filling and satisfying meal and it tasted good. It took a while for us to be served because it was really crowded when we went. I recommend going on a weekday and avoiding the main part of lunch time (12-1). I usually like to get to restaurants right when they open at 11, but this time we went at 12:30, right at peak time. It was also right in the middle of Obon, so a lot of people were probably on vacation.
Pros: Tasty, Healthy, Satisfying, Cute restaurant, Near Mt. Iwaki and some big shrines
Cons: Sometimes crowded, Reservation required for vegan food
