Plant based restaurant est. 2020 on Langkawi inside of a traditional old Malay house which is renovated and furnished using all natural material. The kitchen makes fresh bagels, smoothie bowls with fruit and granola, savoury bowls, nachos, and daily desserts in a range of vegan, raw & gluten-free. Beverage selection includes coffee, juices, limonade, cacao, chai and matcha lattes. A 5-minute drive from Chenang Beach. Open Wed-Sun 11:00am-7:00pm.

Kolma bedeutet „ein tieferes Verständnis für die Natur und die feinen Dinge“. Nichts beschreibt dieses kleine, aber feine Café besser! Unsere Bagel wurden extra frisch gebacken und liebevoll angerichtet. Die Rezepte stammen von der Inhaberin Julia, welche uns herzlich willkommen hieß. Neben den leckeren Bagelkreationen, ließen wir uns auch die köstlichen Zimtschnecken und zucker- und glutenfreien Rawcakes schmecken. Außerdem lädt das Café zum Verweilen ein. Wir sind hin und weg und kommen sicher bald wieder!

Good vegan food and coffee - Edit
We had the oatmilk cappuchino, which was really good and it was very nice to have good coffee. We also had the smoothie bowl and the veggie bowl. They were very good, but especially the veggie bowl was very large for a breakfast. We would have liked some smaller and possibly them cheaper options. Also very nice to have a fully vegan restaurant

Really great spot, very relaxed, the owners are really lovely. Everything vegan 👌🏼 Just wish we’d discovered it earlier in our trip!

Also tried a Ube cheesecake which was very delicious and unique.

Such a cute little cafe with a laid back vibe, easily the best coffee I had in Malaysia. Incredible healthy and wholesome plant based meals, being vegan it’s nice to know you can have everything on the menu, would highly recommend people visit when in Langkawi.

This is a small spot just on the main road with very laid back rustic vibes, but so charming. The staff are all incredibly friendly and I had a dirty chai with oat milk, a house special which was spaghetti carbonara with tofu. A biscoff cheese cake for dessert and green juice for balance😄the menu is limited in terms of food but they do have specials of the day if you ask😄

Tastefully decorated cafe, with vegan dessert. I was hoping for some salty dessert but there's was only dessert left. Cinnamon bun is slightly too sweet for me but the mango lime cheese cake was yummy.

Best plant based dining on Langkawi - Edit
This place is easily the best plant-based restaurant on the island, hands down. We've been here many times and each visit is wonderful. The trendy decor, creative dishes, beautiful presentation, flavour combinations... Everything is amazing. I got a custom vegan birthday cake for my wife's birthday and it was the best vegan cake I've eaten anywhere in the world. Do yourself a favour and try Kolma.

I’m on a two week stay in Langkawi from Penang and today, I was looking for a vegetarian or vegan restaurant at or near Cenang Beach. I was referred to Kolma by a Mexican food restaurant in Cenang Beach. - “Waze” brought me directly there.

The ambiance and decor of the cafe interior was friendly and relaxing.

Always super tasty and healthy food made fresh to order!
The mushroom, tempeh and lentil bagels and the Buddha bowls are devine! You can tell they use very high quality and locally sourced produce/ingredients.
The homemade vegan desserts (cakes, cheesecakes, peanut snickers bars, bliss balls) are the best! The coffee is great and they have some plant based milk options too (oat milk and almond milk).
All round excellent food and service in a very nice cafe/restaurant with great asthetics to relax. Will definitely be back again soon!

Ever since the beginning of it all, I have been the biggest fan, and I am not vegetarian or vegan.
But I have fallen in love with all the vegan options Julia has handcrafted from her very own hands.
The amount of love these two have put into the food, the ambiance & the desserts is unbelievable!
Not to mention how lovely & friendly they are as well!
I will always leave with the satisfaction of a full belly & delicious food.
My favourites have been the Sushi & Burrito Bowls, the Smoothies & the Chai Latte.
The Freshly baked Doughnuts and Cakes are to die for!!! Literally!!
Rest assured, once you've been to Kolma, you will definitely want to keep coming again & again!

I recommend the Mushroom Bagel and the sushi bowl (both delicious and very filling) and the homemade lemonade is an absolute must for these hot sunny days!
You can also get some delicious brownies and cakes here.
The owners are so freindly, kind and welcoming. The decor is so nice and they have created a really beautiful little business here.
Also good tunes!
