Good pastries

Definitely worth trying, but nothing too special. Personally, I enjoyed the pastries from krafin way more

Pros: Vegan options are clearly labelled, Friendly staff, Nice and mild iced latte

Unique

A few sweet vegan options available. No savory vegan flavors available. I got the poppy seed with almonds one. It was good but not overly distinct.

Süßes kleines Café

[censored] gibt’s leckeres Essen, ein bis zwei Sitzplätze. Aber eher zum Mitnehmen. Sehr zu empfehlen, wer abseits der Touri-Naschereien wirklich authentisches Essen möchte.

Yummy sweet treat!

I have Czech family and used to eat kolache all the time from Czech villages in Iowa, USA. It’s quite hard to find vegan versions of traditional pastries anywhere but these hit the spot!!!

Nice place

It's good to have a vegan option to try Czech food. Although they only have sweet options, it would be nice some salty options as well.

Great small bite place

Small cafe with traditional moravian cakes offering vegan versions too.
They serve great coffee from a local roastery too.

Pros: Lots of options, from nutty to fruity cakes.

Cons: Expensive, Vegan versions are smaller yet the same prize.

These traditional Czech pastries are intriguing and yummy! The poppyseed one was fabulous. Lots of vegan versions of all of them too. Nice friendly little shop. Enjoy!

Not as sweet as they seem - delicious!

Tiny little place that offers these little traditional pastries - in different varieties!
We tried poppy seed and plum. 😋

Service is more then helpful and friendly, we hope they will be able to find a bigger place where you can sit and stay to try more.

Pretty good

I had a vegan blueberry one and it was pretty tasty but as a Czech person who wasn’t always vegan I know the taste of the tradional ones and it just didn’t hit the spot the same. But it was definitely good and not a bad price for the fact it’s literally in the centre of the city.

Cute spot✨

It’a a cute little spot! A bit sad that they didn’t had a chocolate one vegan… 🤭 The flavour was nice if you don’t like your snacks TOO sweet.

Pros: Cute spot

Cons: No chocolate :(

The only pastry you should be eating in Praha!

Why are you eating Chimney Cakes (Trdelnik) in Prague? There are pleanty of wonderful vegan shops in Hungary where they’re from. If you’re going to eat a pastry, get a true Czech Kolachie. The Kolacherie is wonderful little shop had a tray of vegan kolachies to try. The staff were exceptionally friendly and very helpful. The only hard part is to stop your self from trying them all!

So good!

Vegan kolac can be hard to find in Prague, so I was thrilled to find this place. They had several different types - I had the strawberry, and the poppyseed. Both were delicious! They also have a variety of non-dairy milks to choose from. The only negative is the limited seating.

Nice and Traditional

We were recommended to try here by our walking tour guide and I spotted the vegan options so had to try one, whilst they are traditional Czech pastries!

They had (I think) 3 vegan options. I chose the strawberry and rhubarb one which was tasty and only 50czk which was good.

They also had milk alternatives for the coffee.

Veganské možnosti/Vegan options

Moc dobrá káva a koláček, sice je potřeba se zeptat co je a co není vegan, ale u koláčků je to napsané. Jinak milá obsluha, jídlo lze jíst na místě nebo vzít s sebou.

Really good coffee and pastry, you have to ask what is and what isn't vegan, but there's a label on the vegan pastry. The staff was kind and also offered takeaway.

Not worth it

The staff was generally rude, the pastry was just not good (I ate a better vegan one from a supermarket) and the bakery was dirty with ants running all over the pastries in the windows for multiple days

A traditional must try!

It’s hard to find Kolach in a vegan version anywhere so I was happy to find this place with a vegan option for this traditional Czech pastry✨It’s a sweet yeast dough filled with different things. We tried a classic poppy seed version and one with forest fruit and crumbles! Both were so tasty and there were several other delicious looking options! 50 crowns makes this an affordable afternoon snack or quick breakfast!

Pros: Vegan options, Unique in prague
