Small cooperative health food store with a comprehensive selection and helpful staff. Stocks fresh produce from local farmers, vitamins, grocery, and more. Open to the public. Reported closed February 2024.
Why is this place so close to Down to Earth? Its not a bad health food store, they have a deli in back with a few vegan items. I got a great tofu musubi from their refrigerated section
This place was ok. It had a pretty good range of vegan stuff - yoghurt, cereal, bars, etc. But just down the road is Down To Earth which is 100% vegetarian and has a bigger and better range.
Nice natural foods cooperative in a nice area - Edit
The Kokua Co-op packs in a ton of great items and includes a small deli area. They had some of the best prices that I found on Oahu for many natural foods items. Kokua is located in a pleasant area near the local Humane Society shelter, the main University campus, a variety of veg-friendly restaurants and just a couple of blocks down King street from the "Down to Earth" all-vegetarian natural foods market. This area was my overall favorite part of Honolulu and this co-op played a major role in forming that opinion.
