No veg menu? 🤷🏻

22 Jan 2023- I drove my scooter down here after catching a beautiful sunset at Koh Kood Resort's Deck Bar.

There were no customers at Ngamko Resort. They don't have a separate vegetarian menu. They could make vegetable versions of a couple of dishes, but they didn't have tofu. They pointed me to some soft egg thing in a tube, in the fridge.

Anyway I decided not to eat here because it didn't seem like it was a popular kitchen.

By the way, I'm staying at Eve house and they have tofu. Previous reviews saying Ngamko is the only place on the island with tofu are incorrect (now).

Tofuuuuu!

We were looking for tofu on this island but it was sooo hard to get one. Here you have a vegetarian section in the menue with various dishes. We enjoyed the green curry. So good!

Best Food on Ko Kut

Nice Restaurant on the Beach. Lots of vegetarian and vegan dishes.

Pros: Lots of different meals, Staff is speaking English

Cons: Quit expensive

Deliscious, cozy, tofu

Seems to be the only place on the island where you can get tofu!
Curries and the tofu with cashewnuts were both very deliscious

Just ok

They actually serve tofu which is great, but both the dishes I tried were incredibly oily. The staff are rather unfriendly too and you feel like you're bothering them when you try to get their attention for extra rice for example. The portion sizes are very good though.

Pros: Have tofu, big portions

Cons: Oily food, unfriendly staff

Delicious msg free

Lovely food, directly on the beach with lovely and friendly staff!! They have a separate veggie menu, just make sure you say you are vegan and you get treated with amazing food!

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Big portions, Good value

Great vegetarian and vegan food

The menu has two pages of vegetarian and vegan options. We are there every day as the food was so delicious. The Tom Kha was particularly great, as were the Red and Green Curry, and the Tofu with Cashew Nut dish was a revelation! No fish sauce or shrimp paste in anything. Priced at around 150 Baht per main dish which is pretty average for Koh Kood. Portion size was good.
