Decent

Good food, but how much you pay for the serving size you get compared to other local cafes in the area is a bit more.

Friendly and delicious

The staff are always super welcoming and the food I get it delicious. They usually have a couple of vegan cake options on the menu but if they've been busy and sold out of the ones in the cabinet sometimes they have something out the back.

Pros: Love a good safe vegan hot chocolate. , Does fresh chai., Chefs happy to discuss meal restrictions

Cons: Can get a little noisy if lots of people are all, Talking inside

Amazing food!

Love it here - great vegan options and an outdoor courtyard which is dog friendly. I love their variety of breakfast menu items and coffee!

Viable

I came here for lunch the first time and ordered the chickpea and zucchini fritters ($17.50), which were a decent size, tasted quite good, but were unfortunately soggy/slimy in texture. The accompanying avocado and radish salad had little avocado and the unpleasant bitterness of the radish cut through the sweet balsamic glaze. I returned another day and had the Earth burger ($18). While substantial and OK, it wasn’t really tasty, and, despite sauce dripping from the burger, it wasn’t particularly moist either. The texture of the burger with its green pea was interesting. Perhaps a viable lunch option but nothing exciting.

Great cafe food

Nice venue, friendly staff, good selection of vegan food on menu. Tried the tofu scramble, which was tasty although smaller than I was expecting for the price. Kombucha was refreshing, but I was left was a large chunk of undissolved sugar at the bottom. Overall a great place and would be happy to come back.

What a great place

This is the funkiest cafe. I love the little garden out the back. The food is great. The staff are friendly and it’s child friendly

Full of Beans

This cafe has had decent vegan options for a few years ahead of others in the area; it's great to see a separate vegan section added into the latest menu.

The burger was the standout today, much better than most available elsewhere.

Busy beans

3rd visit: vegan menu section now expanded. Vegan pizza is small, but fairly cheap and nice. Dukka bowl was okay, but contained too much filler. Good and very interesting burger, would like the recipe.

1st visit Great to see another option in the area. Kofi beans have a reasonable amount of Vegan food and the staff appear well informed.
Bánh mì was pretty good, but roughly 3 times the price of the Bánh mì at Loving Hut Northcote & La Panella in Preston.
Kofi Beans is worth checking out; I will be interested to try some of the other menu options in the near future.
