If you love coffee you should definitely pay Koffushi a visit. They have a great selection of specialty coffees and some food. We had some bowls that were decent, but didn‘t go for any sweets, since they were raw and or glutenfree, so sounded a bit too healthy for us. We did love the concept of the store though. They try to produce everything as ecological and ethical as they can (except for that they offer cows milk) and also seem to have very good staff policy. Outside seating was also very nice😄

Read moreRegarding the coffee: our Coffee of the Week is a special, limited variety that we carefully select for its rarity and quality. For this reason, it costs €1 more than our standard coffee, which is always clearly communicated.
As for the extraction, if at any point a coffee doesn’t meet expectations, we always invite our guests to let our staff know right away. We’re more than happy to remake the drink or offer an alternative, customer satisfaction is very important to us.

Unfortunately, they do serve exploited cows breastmilk. The service was okay. I had the chocolate chip cookie which was abit dry and a cappuccino.

Was excited to visit this cafe as it was shown as fully vegan only to arrive and be asked if we want cows milk. Only ordered one coffee and cookies and it took a long time to be prepared. Disappointing.

Thank you for your feedback. We’d like to clarify that our food menu is 100% vegan, and the only non-vegan ingredient we offer is cow’s milk, which is always optional. For this reason, we clearly define ourselves as a vegetarian café with many vegan options, not a fully vegan establishment.

Regarding the waiting time, we apologize if the service felt slower than expected. The first days of January are among the busiest of the year in Tenerife, and at peak times some waiting may occur despite our best efforts.

What isn’t there to like about Koffushi? Stunning breakfast and lunch dishes, high quality coffee, amazing sweet treats. Not forgetting to mention the staff who were extremely welcoming and friendly. If you’re in Puerto De La Cruz, don’t give this place a miss.

Defining risotto - Edit
I was slightly annoyed that my first choice of dish was not available today, but once I tasted their risotto I knew this is what I'll be comparing all future risotto meals. Creamy texture with perfectly cooked rice, accompanied with mushrooms was supreme. I could taste the olive oil, but not too much. Slices of bread gave a perfect crunchy balance to the dish.
Read moreI had to take a dessert too, and the carrot cake was delicious also. Not too sweet or big. It was like a dessert hamburger with creamy sauce in the middle. Single shot Americano was the best I've had on this island.

My boyfriend and I stopped in here for dessert and loved it. The restaurant is in a great location and the staff are very friendly. We each had a hot chocolate and split slices of the carrot cake and chocolate cake. Both were delicious and we hope to come back!

Wir waren zum Kaffee trinken im Koffushi, dazu gab es zwei verschiedene Kuchen nach Empfehlung. Wir hatten einen Rohkost-Käsekuchen und eine Art Muffin. Alles ist glutenfrei, leider einfach geschmacklich nicht so mein Fall.

Really tasty and healthy food. We had both of the bowls and they were delicious! The drinks were also great: the spice mix for the chai is homemade and so much better than the syrup you get at many other places.
