Take it slow and sweet... - Edit

Beautiful cosy place. Close to the Westerpark (across the street), great staff (especially the owner seems to be a sweetheart). Mostly warm drinks and sweets like pies, cookies. Always lot of different options. A vegan high tea!!! Very nice!!!

Pros: Across Westerpark, Vegan high tea!!!!, Friendly staff, cosy place

Cons: You can only pay by card, vegan high tea only possible if you order it for 2, it isn't open 24/7

Delightful - Edit

This is the kind of cosiness you simply want to bottle and keep for ever. An utterly delightful place set gorgeously on a corner of a gorgeous canal lined street bordering Westerpark. Once inside you could just melt with awe as the cakes and other vegan delights are visible on the counter, Get a window seat if you can, you'll love it. Seating is limited at approximately 10-12. It's all vegan and you can get some decent sandwiches as well as beautifully presented cakes. We had a huge slice of chocolate cake to share. It was sublime, nice and light with a really tasty filling and icing. €2 will get you a coffee and €3-4 a piece of cake. They also do a London Ritz style bumper high tea where you can indulge in a stack of sandwiches and vegan sweet and savoury delights at €19.95 per person. I can imagine that being a long but enjoyable sitting. It was definitely worth the 25 minute walk from IJdok to get here.

Pros: very cosy, friendly, cakes

I adore this place!! I have come here so many times for really good coffee or juices and a piece of delicious cake/pie. The location is nice, especially in summertime and the venue is super cozy and warming. My dream is to have a high tea here someday because that looked absolutely devine!!

Amazing Amazing Amazing - Edit

we tried almost everything on the menu (apart from the breakfasts) in the few days we were in Amsterdam - all items were absolutely faultless.

the vegan croissants match any butter croissant you'll get anywhere. the flavours in the sandwiches are sublime. the fritters and soup were both perfect and so full of flavour and perfectly seasoned.

coffee is perfect.

service was with a smile and they genuinely cared about what was being served up.

my vegan partner give this place the high accolade of best café in the world.

beat that!!

Cons: no alcohol

Really coffee with a little extra - Edit

This cafe is very nice and cozy. To be honest a great place to have a drink with a snack. I am not a coffee drinker but they have nice alternatives! The availability of oatly is also a plus.

Pros: Cozy

Cons: A bit out of the center

gezellig - Edit

Really nice cafe, it's worth the walk from the main town to try it. I would love to sample the high tea which looked fantastic but unfortunately we didn't have room on our visit. We opted for coffee and cake which was delicious.

Best ok - Edit

Ik heb het ontbijt genomen, een croissant met vers sinaasappelsap en een koffie, maar ik vond het geheel niet echt zijn geld waard. Vriendelijke bediening en gezellige sfeer doen wel goed.

A Wonderful Find! - Edit

What an amazing find. We walked from the place we were staying, so it was about 2 miles away, but well worth the walk. We had vegan croissants, something I haven't had since I went vegan almost 8 years ago! The juice was fresh squeezed and delicious. I took home a scone (maybe a cookie?) and devoured it that night. The owner was so genuine and kind. I highly recommend this place!

Pros: Sweet owner, Great food

Cons: Limited seating

5 stars for everything - Edit

UPDATE: it was so amazing that we returned on the second day!!
We tried lunch food, more of the zucchini pancakes and a sandwich as well as the cake of the day. A passion fruit cheesecake and an almond pastry. The place was packed and still the service was excellent!
This place deserves all the success it has!

What a cute coffee shop and all vegan!! I loved our visit there. The owner and friend were super friendly and helpful. We came as a group of 4 and ordered lattes and cakes. I tried a chai latte and a lemongrass chai latte. Both delicious. In terms of cakes, they have different options every day and on our day we had a gluten free lemon cake which was extremely fluffy and delicious. A chocolate hazelnut cake and an apple caramel cake. I don't bake cakes as I have no patience and I don't eat that many sweets but those were scrumptious and worth coming back for more!! As a treat, the owner gave us a taste of the zucchini Gf pancake. We didn't try the lunch menu but it had some very interesting items.

Best vegan breakfast! - Edit

My husband and I took the tram here (just a quick walk from the end of the #10 tram line). It's a small vegan cafe on the corner of two streets. We walked in and sat ourselves. They had menus in both English and Dutch. Be aware that there are also daily pastries and cakes at the counter that are not on the menu. I ordered a pear and almond pastry from the counter with a cappuccino (with almond milk), while my husband got the soy yogurt with granola and fruit salad, with a latte macchiato. All of this was amazing! It was absolutely without a doubt worth our 25 minute trip to the cafe. The pastry. Omg. Melt in your mouth deliciousness! And it went perfectly with my cappuccino. My husband loved his gorgeous breakfast, and his fruit salad had some lovely exotic fruits that we don't find easily in the US (passion fruit and gooseberries). We had such a lovely, leisurely late breakfast here. By the way, the menu says that they prefer payment via card. Finally, the service was wonderful. We were waited upon by a sweet, very friendly young woman. Wonderful service and a wonderful meal. We would definitely return!

Tea room with good food - Edit

They've earned a reputation in Amsterdam for having a delicious selection of cakes, so we went there to check it out. Both slices we had were very tasty. The same goes for the sandwiches we ordered. Not a place for a full meal, but rather for high tea, snack or a sweet thing. Staff was friendly.

Pros: Good food, Cosy atmosphere

Cons: Limited offer

gentle vegan cafe with cute atmosphere - Edit

We were few days ago in this cafe in Amsterdam. The owner is a young friendly vegan lady. We ate some sweets and had a soup. The cafe is in a nice outskirt of the city near an old factory which now is a culture center. The food was OK, the service was good. If you are in the area I would consider to take a cake there.

Fabulous Vegan Sweets and More - Edit

If you love sweets and are vegan, this is an absolute must. Since my husband and I are vegan and have been so since 1991 and 1990 respectively, we have not had high tea. Yet, now we can! We loved the high tea service, that included scones, cupcakes, cheesecake, sandwiches and much more. The owner is warm and welcoming and the environment is cozy and pleasant. This is a wonderful place for a terrific ambience and delicious vegan food.

Pros: Delicious Food , Good Coffee and Tea, Friendly Service

The best of Amsterdam - Edit

Koffie Ende Koeck is my absolute favourite vegan place of Amsterdam. If you're just visiting it might be a little way out for you but it's really worth making the journey (it's an interesting and beautiful area also). The menu is quite small but changes regularly and has some good breakfast options, some different sandwiches for lunch (on home baked sourdough bread) and different cakes, cookies and pies made every day (you can check their social media to see what they've got on that day). They also have smoothies, good coffee and really good teas. The staff are absolutely lovely and the atmosphere is really cute and homely.

The food though, that is the main thing, it is absolutely great. I've tried all the different sandwiches and they're fab, so many interesting tastes and made fresh and warm right there for you (my favourite is the Smokey One) and the cakes are always to die for. The cakes change every day and If you come during Great British Bake Off season you may even get that week's technical challenge. I've put a photo of a passion fruit merange pie up which was frankly, witchcraft.

Don't hesitate, just get your ass down to Westerpark.

Pros: Delicious food, Lovely atmosphere, Friendly staff

Cons: None
