Good potato

Only saw one vegan option: baked potato with vegan topping. But it was clearly labeled and tasted very authentic and good.

Nice vegan "uuniperuna", tasty, good price

Not that many vegan options for protein but the baked potato was good. Not the ideal place to feast if you don't like the smell of fishies.

Pros: Yummy, Vegan options clearly labeled, Good prices

Classic Swedish baked potato with skagenröra

Nice to be able to eat a baked potato with skagenröra at a place like this! It’s clearly marked “vegan” on the menu. However, the skagenöra could be better and I would have preferred it a bit thicker and with some protein in it like small pieces of tofu. I’m probably fussy though as I do it often myself. Still a lovely place and would definitely recommend it if you are in the area. Great for tourists!

Has gotten better

Last year, the baked potato was served with vegan creme fraiche and caviar, however, as I recently visited they served it with vegan “skagenröra” instead. Very tasty and a great restaurant option if you’re accompanied by fish/meat eaters. It’s even possible to buy the skagenröra separately in Nynäs rökeri (ask for the vegan one - make sure they add the vegan caviar). Can be a bit busy if the weather is warm.

Ask for vegan fika/dessert options.
