So good - Edit
Located between the pyramid and the Zocalo in a quiet street. Delicious vegan/vegetarian versions of traditional dishes. Some dishes contain milk or egg, but it is possible to have them vegan instead. Reasonable pricing and friendly and helpful staff. I would definitely recommend.

Great Mexican food! - Edit
The food and the drinks were absolutely delicious. You can make it as spicy as you want with all the sauces they bring to the table. We had enchiladas and chilaquiles, both were great. Will definitely be going back when we’re craving Mexican food.

Lindo restaurante donde la comida es mayormente vegana, el café de olla es delicioso y la atención inigualable. El mole estuvo buenísimo, los jugos muy ricos. Todo hecho con amor ❤️

Lovely little place, although not all vegan food, all is vegetarian and I was told most things can be made vegan by asking for no cheese. Would definitely recommend this place! Super tasty food and really helpful friendly staff

vegan mole poblano? Si hay! - Edit
A cute, casual, friendly little place, where you can get traditional Mexican food. While the menu has lots of vegetarian options, they are very vegan friendly. It's the only place I've found vegan mole poblano, and you have to try the pulque!

Great atmosphere and food - Edit
Use your gps to find this place. Enter off the street, pass a ticket booth type counter on left, continue down hall, pop head into kitchen area on left to make sure you are seen. Head up rustic stairs on left to roof top dining area. There is a little shop up there as well, that sells herbal remedies, and local crafts. You are sitting in a shaded area in the treetops of the courtyard. It is wonderful. If you go up one more flight of stairs you can view the city. The menu is in local terms, so may not be easy to decipher. We had help from some locals. Had the enchiladas verdes, hand made tortillas with refried beans and green enchilada sauce (it was amazing) Asked for a non dairy drink, had mango agua fresca, so good. Came back another time as it was so great.

My first vegan mole - Edit
As the menu was not so clear on what was vegan and what was not, I asked the waiter to help me. He proposed tortillas filled with beans and covered with red mole sauce. I added one avocado and found it very good. The papaya juice was perfect and huge. I appreciated that it was not necessary to mention without sugar. I wonder though in what extent they can veganize their mostly vegetarian menu.

The gem of Cholula! - Edit
Absolutely wonderful find! I was served by a young kid named "Jade" who was practicing her English with me and it was super cute. It is very close to Cholula's pyramid with the church on top. They graciously made food when a friend and I came in right before closing and as well they serve pulque which I had totally wanted to try. This is a definitely Mexican hippie-vibe type of place, and they completely understood veganism and catered to me. Excellent experience! Note: they also sell handicrafts as well as Mexican DVDs.

Great find! - Edit
We were thrilled to come across this wonderful little restaurant; nothing else in Cholula compares. The artfully prepared traditional cuisine is delicious and uses fresh, local ingredients. The manager, Israel, is very friendly and happy to make recommendations. He is an exponent of "slow food" and healthy eating. He creates complex and tasty moles and salsas. We ate here three times and without exception everything was delicious.
