Dark ginger iced chocolate on a hot day - Edit
I had a delicious dark ginger iced chocolate drink, with almond milk(choice of oat almond haslenut soya coconut). My friend had a hot chocolate with oat milk.
Read moreThere is a board of different chocolates to choose from, and anything above 54% is vegan as well as an oat chocolate of 38%. I had 54% which was chocolatey and refreshing, with a good amount of sweetness. I’ll be adventurous next time and try something darker.
We shared a blueberry Bakewell slice and a carrot cake. I’d definitely recommend the Bakewell which tasted of almonds and almost marzipan!

About 2/3rds of the drink options are vegan which is insanely good for a hot chocolate place. There are multiple different milks you can use, as well as three vegan cake options.
Read moreI had the 54% hot chocolate with oat milk which was gorgeous. Not too bitter or rich as you'd often expect of dark chocolate hot chocolate. My mother had the iced dark chocolate and ginger which she thoroughly enjoyed. We shared the carrot cake which was nice and the blueberry Bakewell which was a show stopper.
But the main thing to praise Knoops for is their sustainability as a brand. Across the walls are statements of how sustainable they are. They work directly with the cacao farmers and sustainably source it all.
