They had multiple vegan options. I enjoyed my donut, it was just a little sweet for me to eat all in one sitting. It was the end of the day and they gave us two donuts for free. Staff was angelic, I loved how sweet and talkative they were. Hope to go back soon.
They always seem to have several vegan options available. Last time we had three stellar flavors: vanilla glazed, and salted maple. With a seasonal Apple cider doughnut to round it all out. Very satisfying.
Order ahead online to maximize the chance you will get what you want. Also, they have a few (?) other locations in the area if this one isn’t convenient.
This place has the fluffiest vegan donuts ever. I could eat then everyday. They always have a few vegan flavors and if they I could give 5 stars I totally would! My fav is the jelly filled and the vanilla glazed.
One of the best vegan donuts I've ever tasted - Edit
There is something about the East Coast and vegan donuts that just doesn't vibe for some reason. Vegas, L.A., Portland... AMAZING vegan donuts. But there are like none on the East Coast, even where I live in NYC... or so I thought until coming to Knead!
Now this place doesn't seem to get as much love as another small donut shop in the city (that will remain nameless), but I think Knead's vegan donuts are wayyy superior to this other place. Yes, Knead may not be as fancy, but you can actually taste the donut, not all the frivolous, extra-sugary toppings.
I will say the service was nice enough, but a bit off. My husband and I ordered and then waited at the register to pay for like three minutes, essentially holding up a line full of hungry Rhode Islanders on a Sunday morning (as a native Rhode Islander, I know not to mess with the hungry, non-caffeinated ones). Nobody wanted to take our $$$! But the donut was delicious! Also, they for some reason did not have any nut milk options for coffee, which was strange for a place that was thoughtful enough to serve vegan donuts. Maybe they ran out... I honestly can't remember, but they need to stock up on that stuff bec dairy is gross.

Four stars only because they aren't 100% vegan.
