Excellent vegan burger

The vegan burger was very good, great patty! Cosy atmosphere and smiling staff, you guys definitely MUST go there. Large choice of hot beverages and beers too.

Pros: Great food, Great location, Great staff

Cons: Not a lot of vegan options!

Klosteret Kaffebar

Jeg gikk hit for å spise før et show tidligere i høst (2016), etter løfte om 3 veganske retter på menyen. Da jeg kom hit sa mannen bak skranken at det stemte ikke. Dagens gryte som jeg fikk høre alltid hadde vegansk alternativ var kun tilgjengelig med kjøtt. Han sa de hadde en suppe (grønnsaker i buljong) og jeg sa ja til den. Det jeg fikk var 6 biter med gulrot og potet, i en slags curry-suppe. Hadde jeg visst den var sterk hadde jeg sagt nei takk. Fikk også smør som ikke var vegansk, heldigvis spurte jeg før jeg spiste det. De hadde kun rømme som alternativ.

Dyrt, og ikke verdt det for meg. Maten var god, men altfor sterk for meg. Utvalget var heller skuffende etter å ha lest meny og reviews her. Kanskje utvalget er annerledes andre dager.

Alt i alt, jeg drar ikke tilbake

Pros: Koselig lokale

Cons: Lite utvalg

Favorite place in Bergen

This is a lovely place, I ate there almost every day on my stay in Bergen.
The place is cozy, the staff is very very friendly and the food is amazing. I would give it 5 stars if it wasn't because the site doesn't allow me to.

I tried the vegan burger and stews. I have to say they're really really good with stews. They change every day and usually are very tasty.

If you're cold or wet this is the place to come relax and get some hot food and a coffee. They also close kind of late

wonderful!

The previous reviewer was right-this place is a gem! The veggie burger could be made vegan, which they said on the menu. It was very tasty and I are every last bite. There was also a vegan date/almond pie, which was delicious! The decor was charming, the staff friendly and helpful-Definitely worth the short walk over!

Delicious Food

What a little gem, we discovered on holiday. They have two vegan options on their menu - both of which can be made gluten free. They also do a vegan stew / casserole daily. they have a raw cake everyday. The staff are extremely helpful and kind. It is a lovely spot to sit and relax, they have wifi. Everybody speaks perfect English and if you are very lucky they will give out recipes :)

It also has a library and games to play.

Pros: Excellent food, Good value, Friendly staff
