A great experience - Edit
Fantastic food focusing on seasonal local produce. Our menu featured kale extensively, but the dishes were each so different and so delicious that you would hardly have noticed. All were inventive, well-presented and described in detail by the owner/chef, who clearly takes justifiable pride in his work. The location is interesting, well away from the tourist destinations in Tallinn, so you will get to see a part of the city you might not otherwise see. A highlight of our holiday.

Tastebuds will enjot it - Edit
The chef is a mastermind of flavors. The ingrediets are always as organic and seasonal as possible. The menu changes almost every week because he keeps it seasonal. There are very interesting creative dishes that will give a smile on your face. There is usually soup, salad-dish, appetizer-dish, main-dish, desert. Home made lemonades, coffee, cocoa, kurkum latte, japanese green tea and other teas. price per dish is between 5 euro (desert) to 11 euro (big main dish). We usually take at least three dishes and eat from the same plate together. It often feels like a 4-course meal, because it is just so enoyable. The chef is also taking really good care of the customers, explaining how he made the dish and what was his intentions in it and a little about the restaurant mission. We go to klorofüll regularly because it is almost like a therapy, it makes us smile for many days.

A great experience with great food - Edit
We visited in September 2025 and enjoyed a lovely meal. Although Klorofull isn't as central as some other vegan places it's very easy to get to on public transport and well worth a visit. The owner was very friendly and obviously passionate about creating fresh, seasonal vegan dishes. He talked us through the menu and kept us right on portion sizes so we didn't over or under order (dishes are available in two sizes). The menu changes frequently to make the most of seasonal produce. The day we were there we had a lentil and vegetable soup, a Korean vegetable pasta (featuring kimchi) and a warm rice pudding with berries. Everything was very nicely flavoured and it felt like a lot of effort had been put into making sure everything tasted good. We'll definitely go back next time we're in Tallinn.

Lovely fully vegan restaurant! - Edit
For this restaurant it is worth to go outside of the city center of Tallinn. The owner was really friendly and explained the concept a d menu to us very detailed. We tried all dishes they had and everything was delicious!
Read moreOnly minus was that they only had oat milk for coffee and not other vegan milk options like soy or coconut milk.

The restaurant is housed upstairs in an artists workspace out of town, a little hard to find, but so worth tracking down.

Unique Vegan Culinary Experience - Edit
Klorofüll is located on the second floor of a building, a 10 min. tram ride south from Old Town Tallinn, that caters for exceptional Estonian based artists. And likewise Klorofüll is truly exceptional when it comes to the art of cuisine. The chef is very well educated and even trained in France and Switzerland for a number of years before arriving in Tallinn relatively recently. The menu changes every day. The food ingredients are all fresh, sourced locally and prepared from first principles. The blending of tastes is perfect. To experience it all one has to have the full menu as we did. From starters to dessert, it was delicious. For starters we had a Vegetable Soup and a Tomato Salad dish. For mains, a Thai Curry with Noodles. For dessert, an Apple and Cinnamon. Kombucha too. An understated canteen environment with all the emphasis being on the food. Highly recommended. Very affordable. Excellent service. The best vegan culinary experience to be had in Tallinn for sure. An education also.

Lovely food and owner - Edit
The owner/chef takes great pride in his food that showcases the beautiful flavours of vegetables that he sources locally fresh from the grower. Don’t let the distance from the Old Town dissuade you from going; it is only a few stops on the tram or bus, which are very easy for tourists to use — Google Maps for the next tram or bus, and just swipe your Visa/Mastercard inside.

Fanciest canteen in town - Edit
Klorofüll is advertised both as the new canteen for the artists working in the legendary ARS complex, and a laid back restaurant on its own. To reach it after work in the city centre, you definitely have to make an effort, and I‘m glad they recently extended their closing time from 6 to 7PM, giving more people a chance to find their way to this part of the town, and to room nr. 208. We arrived an hour before closing time and had the restaurant to ourselves for most of the time. The menu changes daily and our surprise was cold millet salad with marinated peach for starters, warm millet with green lentil sauce and oven baked apple, and cold coffee. The starter, main and coffee together were 12,50€. Unfortunately, they were out of dessert by then. Millet is something that I used to have as a kid growing up in the Estonian countryside a lot, and it’s not too often that I come across it in a restaurant. Here, it was mixed with herbs, including peppermint, which gave it a zesty character. The „cold coffee“ was not the lukewarm leftover that it may sound like, but a concept of a refreshing drink without the ice that, according to the chef himself, „is not good for the organism“. In any case, it was very nice on a hot September day, and the visit in general left a good feeling.

The place is hidden in a building, entering it looks pretty much like a school food hall but dont be fooled. The chef is making amazing food that both looks great and is tasty like a fancy restaurant.

Creative menue for a very good price - Edit
We arrived one hour before closing and were the only guest in the restaurant. The owner was very welcoming and nice. We ordered parts of the menue and shared. We paid 21 euro (total, for two) including drinks and desert. The concept of the week was a local plant, that was part of the whole menue, even the drinks and the bread. Very creative, matching to the location in an old soviet art studio building. The food was tasty and we would definitely come back.

Wonderful experience - Edit
I had a wonderful lunch at Klorofüll, which has shifted from fine dining to a more casual and affordable concept. We shared the entire menu, including an appetizer, soup, main course, dessert, and a sweet pie, all for under €25 for two. The food was extremely tasty, making for a delightful experience.

Possibly becoming a Michelin ⭐️ restaurant - Edit
Great atmosphere, excellent service and very detailed food presentation. Some of the food choices were a bit confusing for me, like many different types of food put together on the same plate. One of the dishes was surprisingly spicy, I was ok with that, but some guests should be warned beforehand. I must mention that it took me tremendous effort to patiently wait and cope with super long and very detailed menu and food presentation. But all in all - very pleasant and interesting experience, we will be definitely back for next season menu in December.

Perfect fine dining - Edit
Went for a romantic dinner, no specific occasion, we just wanted to dress up a little, have good food and good wine. We were not disappointed. The food is delicious. The menu changes with the seasonal vedge but I encourage you to trust the chef and try as many different foods as possible. We had open sandwich, gimbap, laksa and gnocchi. I have no pictures as we were so submerged into having a fab night out.
