Perfect for a treat - Edit
We ate breakfast and dinner here as a birthday treat as its a little more expensive (>100,000LAK pp) than what we'd been paying. Overnight oats smoothie bowl was beautiful and bhudda bowl also delicious! Both dishes had so much variety of fruit and vegetables. Plenty of vegetarian options and more meat options for my partner. Free purified drinking water too!

Average tbh - Edit
There were a lot of options to change the dish to vegan/veggie by adding tofu as your protein. My partner had green curry which was pretty nice. I had the pad Thai which tbh didn’t have a lot of flavour and was the worse pad Thai I’ve had since being in sea. The staff are lovely and the vibe is ok. Maybe I’ll go back and try the smoothie bowl which people seem to like..

We loved the smoothiebowl! - Edit
We had the smoothiebowl with coconut oats in it. Also a avo toast with some tomato. Nice quite spot to have breakfast. The smoothie with banana and passionfruit is amazing. Portion of the smoothiebowl and smoothied are big, which is nice because the prices are not cheap.

Heaps of vegan options just ask - Edit
There are heaps of vegan options on the menu, you just need to let them know. The pad kra pow tofu is possibly the best I’ve had in a long time. The serving of tofu is the largest we’ve been served in Lao

Home sweet home - Edit
Inner patriotism aside, this place genuinely is brilliant. While there isn’t set vegan menu all vegetarian options and some meat options can be made vegan on request without any compromise on flavour. A mix of western, Thai, Laos and Chinese dishes.

Hardly any vegan options and expensive - Edit
Didn’t end up eating here because there was nothing vegan! Overpriced for what they are selling too.

Bad management - Edit
We went here for breakfast. There are no vegan options so I opted for the shakshuka with no eggs my omni friend got french toast which she requested no honey. We also ordered two iced lattes (one soy). The girl who took our order was very sweet, quiet but repeated our order back and was correct. She went off to make the coffee and was there for approx five minutes when another woman came in who we presume was the owner. An argument seemed to happen but it was in Lao so we cant be sure. During this time we received our food. My shakshuka was a large portion of hummus with what tasted and looked like a warmed tin of chopped tomatoes and five very thin small pieces of baguette (i love hummus as much as the next vegan but I'm not going to eat a whole plate with a spoon). We eat and it's okay. We finish and are still waiting for our coffees which the manager is making. Eventually she comes over with two hot lattes i say one should be soy and she falters and then says one is but doesn't seem confident we then point out they're supposed to be iced to which she says we didnt order iced this goes back and forth a while before she finally says she'll remake them. By now we want to leave as we've finished our average meals so we say that to which she says shes already made the coffee (but she hasnt just the hot). We then get up to pay and she prints a receipt with the coffee still on. We say we arent paying for the coffee and she ignores or and rings someone to ask why they let our server serve without checking and sayings "its [censored] [censored] these woman dont want to pay now" while we stand in front of her. We leave the correct money and leave hoping our poor server doesn't get shouted at. It was a simple mistake made into a huge deal and made us feel very uncomfortable.
Read moreThe employee did understand us as shown from the alterations to our meals being correct. The owner took nearly 30 minutes to make the wrong drink and then complained we didnt want them. Also it was 95thousand kip for the shakshuka - tourist prices be crazay.
Cons: Rude management , Barely any vegan options , Expensive

Must go in Vang Vieng - Edit
We didn't find that much good vegan food in Vang Vieng. But this place has a great buddha bowl. It was really tasty and healthy. The vegan burger was also very nice. They have some vegan options, not that many. But they also have soy coffees (what we experienced as challenging to find in Vang Vieng). It was really delicious. We came back for it the next day.

Best in Vang Vieng - Edit
We’re so happy to find this place. The soy cappuccino is very good and they have a couple western-style vegan options, and during the weekend a sunday roast which we missed out on. The staff is lovely and speaks English (owner is a Kiwi).

Plastic free smoothies - Edit
So great to be able to get a fresh fruit smoothie that’s served in glass with a metal straw instead of single use plastic.

Lovely food and lovely ownership - Edit
Had the overnight oats/smoothie bowl which was great. I came back and had the tofu Buddha bowl which was really good. Owners clearly understand when you ask for things vegan.
