Seems to be closed - Edit

I visited today (July 19, 2016) and it seems this place is no longer in business. The inside seemed to have been completely gutted so I can only presume it's permanently closed rather than just for renovations or similar.

Cons: It's closed.

Kiwi Cafe is the Best! - Edit

So happy my friends and I got to visit the Kiwi Cafe during our stay in Tbilisi. Actually the first time we passed, they were closed (it was a Friday and a sign in the window explained that they were short-staffed and wouldn't reopen until Monday). But we stopped by again, and are super glad we did! As soon as we entered the cafe, the staff kindly greeted us. It was raining heavily when we arrived at the cafe and they even welcomed the cute dog that followed us inside off the street, and let him chill out, away from the bad weather. It was nice to see that Kiwi practices what they preach in regards to kindness towards animals. The decor was homely and comfortable, very relaxed vibe. All of the food was amazing, we tried just about everything on the menu. The menu is small, as some people have pointed out, but everything on it is absolutely delicious. quality over quantity, which is never a bad thing. The soup was my favorite, it came with a delicious bread and was actually so filling that i had to take home the other entree i ordered (the eggplant sandwich, which was wonderful the next day) My friends had the hummus sandwich, which they all loved, and the peanut butter cookies, which were awesome. One of my friends also had the salad and apple pie, which he throughly enjoyed. For drinks, we had the homemade lemonade (usually it is made with mint, but that day they were out) and it was soooo good. One of my friends had an iced coffee, which he said was really good. All of the food comes in decent-sized to large portions, and is beyond reasonably priced (no more than 5 lari a dish). We were a group of four and our entire meal together (including drinks, desserts, multiple entrees for each person and a tip) was around 30 USD, which was amazing. I only wish that Kiwi cafe had been open all of the days that we we stayed in Tblisi, so that we could have had all of our meals there. The staff was so sweet, they spoke perfect english and made a point to talk to us without being overbearing. The service was also very quick! Kiwi will definitely be the first stop on my next trip to Tblisi.

Pros: kind and friendly staff, delicious food for a great price, the stickers on the wall in the bathroom

Great find! - Edit

Delicious, inexpensive vegan food in a central location. We have visited 5 times and will return as long as we are in Tbilisi. Everything tasty (loved the adjab sandal with eggplant and the white wine is better than average). Staff is friendly and speak English. The only negative is that it is very small so you might not get a seat.

Pros: Delicious , inexpensive, good location

Cons: small venue, gets crowded

wonderful find - Edit

Kiwi Cafe was my favorite part of Tbilisi by far. Located in a beautiful, sunny space in the old part of the city, Kiwi Cafe serves delicious, creative vegan food. We ate there three times in the space of several days, and each time there were new and delicious options on the menu, showing creative use of fresh, local ingredients. We even bought some banana-peanut butter cookies to take with us on the plane ride home.
Just two comments: one evening we went there planning to have dinner but found they were not serving food because the y were showing a film there (the restaurant also serves as a center for local social activism). So I would recommend calling ahead of time to make sure they're open.
Second, the one thing I would have liked to see was whole grain bread (they served the fresh white bread which is available on every street corner, and we would have loved some whole-grain bread for a change). But other than that one lack, the food was entirely satisfactory. Highly recommended!

Pros: Excellent value, Fresh food, good seasonings, Friendly staff

Cons: No whole grain bread or noodles

Amazing and delicious vegan food! - Edit

While traveling I enjoy checking out the local vegan scene and what I found here was amazingly delicious! My friend and I ordered their falafel (which is a great choice) and an eggplant dish with mustard dill sauce (my favorite!). I'd go back again in a heartbeat. They are the first all vegan spot in Georgia with a small but very delicious menu. and everything was quite inexpensive (5L average).

Pros: All vegan!

Just what Tbilisi needs! - Edit

Just had lunch here today. Great people, nice easy location near Tavisuplebis Moedani, and absolutely delicious food! The falafel was incredible, and nothing was over five lari.

Pros: Inexpensive , Delicious, Lots of info about community events

Cons: Can get crowded

Great place! - Edit

Relatively simple dishes, but everything is fresh and very tasty.
We ordered rice with soy, pasta with tomato sauce, salad, falafel and apricot pie (yes, we were hungry after 2 days in the mountains with zero vegan options :-)). Everything was delicious!
The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is great. Prices are really low, even for Georgia.

Only Vegan Place in Tbilisi, But the Best ! - Edit

This is the first and the only Vegan place in Tbilisi, great place for Vegans and Vegetarians. There are also options for raw vegans, like raw cookies, and salads with bean sprouts.

There are different kinds of food from different countries, the staff are super nice, and the food is healthy, fresh and tasty...

Prices are surprisingly cheap, for tasty and good-quality food. The reason why is that the place is a non-profit community project made by Vegan community of Tbilisi!

Despite being recently opened, there were many customers, mostly expats, artists, and tourists

Super friendly people :)

Pros: Fresh, Tasty Vegan Food, Nice Staff and Cozy Atmosphere, Very Cheap Price
