Nice small place - Edit
I came here on my tour of Thau Dien veggie places.
Read moreI guess there are 2 aspects to be commented on - the venue and the food.
The menu has a handful of things on it. We got the 2 main bowls and the tofu. Everything was good. I would go noodles over tempeh if I were to come back. The fried tofu was nice and came with pickeled onion and celery.
The venu is odd. It's connected to a bar and all the drinks come from the bar. It's not a cheap bar.
If you don't mind good and reasonably priced food with expensive drinks, I'd suggest giving this place a try.
Pros: Cheap, Good flavors
Cons: Expensive drinks

Vegan affordable food made with love - Edit
This small kitchen is located inside a drinks venue. It is a small kitchen with one single person running the whole place. The chef is very attentive and cares about the customers and food. The food is simply amazing, with good quantities, great taste, and innovative yet simple ways of making vegan dishes a delicacy. I'm sure the chef has some fine dining background as the love and care put in every dish is palpable, and everything is made on the day. The tempeh and the seitan "lollipops" are a must try. The ambience at night is great, with subtle illumination and a cozy environment.

Feel bad about the review - Edit
The owner/chef is really friendly and the food is ok but the experience leaves a lot to be desired. It seems they are partnered with the bar and the person taking orders seems to be from the bar. When he gave me the menu I asked what was vegan and I was told everything is vegan. Fortunately the chef came across and told us the burgers (which I would have ordered) are not vegan along with one other thing. Had the chef not come across I would have eaten non vegan food. Then bill time. A 2% card charge is added despite the fact I’m going to pay in cash. When I asked about this it was taken off, had I not asked I don’t know if it would have been. And the added 10% VAT, one of my pet hates. If it’s not optional show it in the price! Be upfront about your pricing. Compounding this I saw no mention of it on the food menu only on the drinks menu (I could be wrong about this but I’m fairly sure it’s not on there.). One of the few places to make my “do not return” list.
