Fabulous authentic tasty Japanese cuisine - Edit

Loved it, we went there for our wedding anniversary dinner, could not have hoped for more, it is wonderful that Bathurst finally has such a top-notch Japanese restaurant. My mother is Japanese, so I know good Japanese food! Very tasty, very fresh, very authentic.

I would give it a 5-star review but since the restaurant is not fully vego I can't.

Prices were good, staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming.

Only complaint is that we felt cold, they did turn up the temperature when we asked, but it was still a bit on the cool side - Dad kept his beanie and puffer jacket on for the whole time.

So come prepared for great food and dress warm!

Pros: tasty fresh food, authentic Japanese, friendly and welcoming

Cons: Restaurant was a bit cold, Dad wore his beanie!

They're trying... - Edit

There are a couple of veganizable options but you must specify NO bonito/fish flake garnish, specify NO mayo, and double confirm they understand because a couple of the servers were clueless (even though the menu clearly specifies there are options). So, they are trying in an area where very few vegan-friendly options exist, and when you finally get the food you ordered, it's really food (albeit on the expensive side), but.. again.. they're trying.

Pros: Has potential

Cons: Need to book a reservation or they make a fuss, Snooty and not all servers know what vegan means, Expensive
