Healthy with vegan options

Small and cosy with a few outside tables. Coffee machine was broken, so we ordered a fresh juice, which was nice. Friendly service. Vegan options, healthy and wholesome.

Good vegan options

Delicious Oatly cappucino and turmeric chai latte. Banana bread excellent and the vegan balanced bowl was great. We will be back. Take away or sit outside only at the mo (not sure if this is a tier 2 thing or general Covid-19 thing).

Pros: Friendly staff, Good vegan options, Coffee v delicious

Cons: Serves meat too

My favourite cafe in North London.

Friendly, chilled owner who does the best matcha and great Japanese home cooking.

Delicious, dinky and authentic!

This is a sweet little place which is located in the middle of a residential street. No signage so it can be easy to miss if going in a car so keep your eyes peeled. (Front of the place is burgundy at the time of writing this review.) The rice balls are big enough if you just need a filling snack - the kelp one is DELISH if you're into a salty taste. Or have a rice ball as a good starter followed by one of the bowls if you are hungrier. Delish fresh juice too! Pop to the counter for service rather than waiting for them - I think that is their system. A cute little hidden gem!

Pros: Good options, Fresh and authentic food , Friendly service

Cons: Staff not super fluent in Eng but didn't matter!

Quiet spot with excellent lunch, snacks, and tea

This beautifully decorated cafe is a stones throw from both Highbury Fields and Highbury and Islington underground station. It's tucked away down a little side street but has a little outdoor seating area with a couple of tables and quite a few tables inside too. I highly recommend it as a spot to stop in and work for a few hours: lovely staff, power sockets, comfy seats, free wife, great tea, good snacks. Food is all macrobiotic and vegetarian with many vegan options - cooked to order so they are happy to make changes for you.

Pros: Great selection of drinks and snacks, Friendly staff and beautiful decor, Good tasting healthy food
