Not bad - Edit
I ordered the Dragon bowl, which comes with 2 skewers, and I added a third. The vegan chicken one was the most flavourful. Tofu and tempeh were okay. This was my second time eating here and I have to say I expected more. I expected certain ingredients in the dish to be hot (like the skewers and cooked vegetables), but everything was room temperature like it had been sitting out. But, the flavour was okay, portion sizes are generous, and the atmosphere is good.

There are better places - Edit
I made the mistake of ordering a tofu scramble without reading through all the ingredients, so it came with parmesan on top, which is a little weird, but ok. The taste was good, but a very small size for the money I paid.
Read moreAnother weird thing was an employee bringing in a pack of meat, probably for the employees. Nevertheless this should not happen in a vegetarian restaurant.

Sadly underwhelming - Edit
Not the worst thing I have eaten..... sure not the best. Got the pad thai, menu didn’t state mushrooms and it was full of them. Actual flavour was not bad. But it was covered in a heavy satay sort of sauce and all sticky. Not like pad thai. Not my cup of tea that’s for sure. Also ordered the tofu skewers, tofu had a strange taste to it, so that didn’t get eaten either. Pretty disappointed. Won’t be back. Nice looking place though. A bit pricey for Ubud.

Vegan skewers are amazing ! - Edit
That's a cosy place with dim lights, but before seating you already know that the bill won't be cheap. I ordered a Dragon Bowl (no joke) which is served with 2 skewers... the bowl is ok, not unforgettable, but you can choose the skewers, I choose the vegan skewers... what a surprise ! So delicious I ordered 3 more... Forget the bowl, just ask for the skewers.

Lovely unique place - Edit
Love the look and feel of this place. Dimmed lighting, but with a fairy light feel. When you want service at your table to put the light above the table on.

Nice treat, loved the cocktails and skewers - Edit
The food we had was really good. I had the 666 southwest bowl with the vegan satay skewers (swap honey dressing for balsamic) and my boyfriend had the chick’n wrap. Both were really tasty. Cocktails were good too, can’t remember the name of mine but it has chilli in and was a bit spicy which I love. Vegan options weren’t marked which always frustrates me a bit but the staff were good at helping us choose. Would be nice to have more vegan options especially when it comes to dessert and the dessert cocktails. Was pretty expensive for ubud, but still worth a visit.

A hidden gem - Edit
An absolute must visit in Ubud! We came across this place randomly one evening, and it was incredible. Not sure if it's 100% vegetarian but has loads of choice for both veggies and vegans. My friend and I weren't super hungry so shared the beetroot and goats cheese salad, the ginger and chili edamame and some sushi. All 3 dishes were exquisite. We also finished off with a vegan berry cheesecake, which was very good although nothing spectacular. The setting itself is lovely and cosy, with lovely staff.

This is a beautiful place with amazing food and quick service. We had chicken nuggets, jackfruit wraps and sushi cones and looooved jackfruit wraps! Sushi cones were hard to eat as the shell was very chewy. Overall we had great experience

Wow! Wow! Wow! - Edit
Wow! That's all we could say when we visited this restaurant in Bali. From the decor to the service to the food and drinks everything was top notch! The service is interesting you pull on a string which lights up a red light bulb and the server then comes to your table. The food was just amazing - so well presented and it tasted "Chef prepared". We had the vegetarian skewers, 666 Jackfruit Poutine Thai Green Curry, Mango Cider, Blended Kombucha and finished off with the Chocolate Coconut Addict! We wanted to go back a second time but they were all booked up. Loved this place!

Expected more - Edit
After reading lots of great reviews for this place I thought we’d try it whilst in ubud. We had the skewers (satay, tempeh & mushrooms), a mushroom pie, jackfruit wrap and fries. Unfortunately the mains were very underwhelming. The jackfruit was probably the worst I’ve ever had - very slimy and didn’t really taste that great either. It was also really spicy which wasn’t advertised. The mushroom pie was just ok but definitely nothing special. The skewers and fries were good but not enough to fill us up so after leaving half of our meals we decided to go somewhere else afterwards. The drink also had a very unpleasant aftertaste. Perhaps we just picked the wrong things or it was an off day... but based on our experience I wouldn’t recommend it.

Big disappointment - Edit
We ordered 5 dishes for a total of over 300k and since it’s relatively expensive and has lots of good reviews had high expectations for the food. However the food turned out to be rather disappointing... all of it was so greasy it was literally dripping oil. The sauce for the samosas had definitely already gone off. Overall it was just way overpriced bad fast food that we didn’t even finish although we were still hungry. I really hope other people don’t fall for the good reviews.

Very small restaurant with gorgeous decor, lovely atmosphere and the best food I had on my recent trip. I highly recommend the edamame (cooked with coconut oil instead of butter), the salad bowls with mixed skewers, and the cocktails! I'll definitely be going back next time I'm in Bali.
