Such a stylish place with interesting foods and drinks, service was spot-on and staff was super accommodating, friendly and warm, prices are a bit expensive but the food was so gorgeous and varied, we were very satisfied, even though the thali didn't look like that much (it was actually plenty, with 3 bowls of different curry/dals, bread and rice). The menu doesn't state what is vegan or vegetarian so you always have to ask, but I got the feeling that everything can be veganized except for stuff like halloumi, we were told that cucumber raita and milk rice dessert are made with soy yogurt and coconut milk.

I do like Near East food and go regularly into these restaurants. But Kismet outshines most of them. The food is very very delicious and always has a nice twist to it. Solid portions. Not cheap but worth it. And in great city location

The current photos of this place do not do justice at all. The restaurant has a atmosphere, perfect lighting and music. Food was great, very filling and delicious. Would recommend booking ahead as only just managed to get the last table.

We had the doner kebab and the potato tajine- both were amazing, but the kebab was my favorite. Both came with a small salad and flatbread. Nice cozy atmosphere, and the staff were super friendly. We’re only here for a few days but would definitely come back again.

Kismet is a really stylish restaurant and I liked the experience there. I tried the Thali dish that was composed by 3 different curries accompanied by different sorts of bread and rice. It was okay but not really exciting, I wish there was more guidance in the choice of the food while when we asked questions they didn’t really give answers.

Ein Restaurantbesuch, den man bereut. Weder das in Fett getränkte, aufgewärmte und zerkochte Essen, noch die nach Rauch stinkende Bedienung, noch die inkompetente Geschäftsleitung, die völlig fehlbesetzt ist und die Schuld auf alles Andere schiebt, noch das mangelnde Licht, die hässliche Einrichtung... und schon gar nicht die völlig absurden Preise für diese mangelnde Qualität würden uns oder Geschäftsfreunde jemals wiederkommen lassen. Schade um die gute Lage.

Read moreUnfortunately there was a very strong and bad smell from the kitchen area (I guess from the dishwasher) that was really unpleasant the whole time.
I ordered the only vegan tajin for 17.5€ and it only had potatoswith tomato sauce peanuts and a few coriander leaves on top. As a side there was couscous. I found this dish very boring and uninspiring. This is something I would fix myself when I forgot to shop on a weekday. Looking on the ingredients and how much effort went into it it was way too expensive.

The look and feel of the restaurant was really nice. It was all lit with candles.
We ordered some pres and shared them and all of them were delicious. Many things were prepared in a way I've not experienced it so far. The same goes for the mains. Overall the food was perfect and even though it's a little pricey it was fair for what they offered. (And the price is pretty normal for a restaurant that centered in Munich)
The staff was really nice, they sometimes forgot the water but when confronted with it they were very fast on bringing it and they know the menu well and could help you out.

We went there last night with two friends and had a great evening sitting get outside. The dishes are very good, loved the mezze platers for entre and the thali. Portions are very generous so maybe order a bit less. Salads are yummy. Loved the Marrakesh Mule cocktail. The service is exceptional and totally unpretentious. Will definitely come back. Thank you

Das Kismet ist sehr gemütlich und gleichzeitig stylisch. Vegane Gerichte sind nicht extra gekennzeichnet, jedoch kann auf Nachfrage bei fast allen Gerichten der Käse/Joghurt weggelassen werden, so dass sie vegan werden. Die Hauptgerichte sind sehr lecker, liegen preislich zwischen 15,50 EUR und 19,50 EUR. Die Portionen sind extrem groß, wofür ich einen Punkt Abzug gebe, da so unweigerlich viel übrig bleibt, was dann weggeschmissen wird. Also am besten eine Take-away-Box mitbringen!

You can just come here for drinks and/or smaller dishes - so definitely recommended at some point during your stay.

We had a beetroot mousse, bread with thyme and 2 different Tajines, all excellent. The service was fast and super friendly. We can't say that the dishes were small as mentioned here earlier, it was sufficient for us!

We were helped in English and well explained what dishes on the menu are vegan. the service was fast and friendly, we felt very welcome. we ordered a vegetarian kind of bread + feta and a vegan tajien. We did not have to wait long to get served, and both dishes tasted great. if you are very hungry you may want to order two things or get a dessert.
